WN is at it again they have made fastpass worth less by assigning a value to it. Now require more than 1 to unlock chapters aargh.
Fastpass now less useful sad and mad.
And they still expire just as fast.
I've asked from customer service and in short their answer =
Chapter costs:
14 coins or less = 1 Fast Pass
15 - 24 coins = 2 Fast Passes
25 - 30 coins = 3 Fast Passes
So now they charge us the same as other novel apps. More coins or FP's according to the length of a chapter (number of words)
WTF! Don't know if I'm lucky or not. None of the novels I'm currently reading has had a chapter over 14 coins for a wile, so I didn't notice till now. The whole point of getting FPs, for me at least, is to use them on larger chapters. Although, this could explain why one of the novels I read suddenly went from often having chapters worth 30 to 50 coins on a regular biases, to cutting chapters up into 6 to 14 coin chunks depending on where in the chapter makes for a good cliffhanger.
Pretty scummy if you ask me.
They increased the cost to unlock a chapter while also making it more difficult to earn a Fast Pass.

I am kicking myself for not using my FP that I have hoarded before the change. Should have spent them when it was one FP per chapter I could have unlocked like 30 at a go now it’s like around 10 chapters only. Sigh.
I agree with everyone here. This app used to be my favorite but now it looks like I’ll be spending more time on other apps because I read so much. They’ve just made this more difficult for those of us who love to read a lot. So sad. They’re loosing dedicated customers because of their greed. Looks like I’ll now be logging in every day, just to accumulate a fast pass so that I can read a couple of chapters a week. Not worth it.

Thisismyname That's yet another part of the insult with this company: they literally give you no warning! They could give you the courtesy of a few weeks or even months warning, like better companies might do (cough wux iawo rld cough), but nope... not this place! What an absurd notion, right?!
When it comes to this place, assume the worst so that you minimize the inevitable disappointment when it does come... and - oh boy - it will come!

Yes. If WN would just give ANY warning of what they intend to do in the next update, (or even just an update summery when it happens) More that 80% of complaints would vanish, and probably 80% of the 'Bug Reports' on the forum as well. In both cases, it is the lack of knowledge about whats going on that's causing the problems in the first place.
_Michele_ For me, while not dislike or hate, did i use the App quite a bit but i still prefer to use the PC to read Novels. But the Update a while ago, that makes quite a few Novels only readable with App did make me dislike the App. Not only that a while ago, did pay, 0,99€ for a few Webnovel Coins, thinking that sometime i can pay a bit for Webnovel, as i use it quite a bit, only to end up regretting it, as i lost the Option "Watch ads to unlock Chapter" of the App Permanent. Additional do i no longer get 4 Fast-Passes, as my Daily Check in is not a Mix of Genre Free-Passes. So i only have from the usual 6 Chapter to unlock a Day, now only 3 left. To Top if off did not long Ago the came these Fast-Pass Cost increase for longer Chapters.....
I can only Advice all People to not Pay ANY amount of Money in Webnovel, as i got screwed over with and lost 2 Daily Chapters unlock option, to get only 15 Chapters only once.

Goldenswiftreader It breaks my heart what they have done with fp's. The stories cost way too much even with using one for per chapter. But at least they helped. But now charging more fp's per chapter? Too much. I can not keep paying all this money. I am poor. This was my only entertainment. But now I will have to drop this app because I just can not afford it.
