Is this sarcasm? Just asking because it seems like half of all the original novels on Webnovel are system novels.

Personally, I'm pretty tired of system novels. But that's just me. To each their own.

To summarise, read original novels because they have a lot of systems particularly in anime fanfics. I am a major fan of fanfics so... great for me.
