Long time lurker, first time poster. I wanted to showcase my current novel, The Chronicles of New Havens!

I've been writing this novel for more than three years at this point and I'm looking to get more views/reviews. Just a note that all content is free to read (no locked chapters!) and there's currently over 400 chapters. My novel is a unique blend of "western fantasy" and "eastern cultivation" with four main characters, a sprawling world, a fleshed out cultivation system, and hundreds of years of history. It will touch upon serious topics such as morality, philosophy, politics, warfare, death, and more (nothing related to the real world). Fight scenes will also be included! They're my favorite to write. I won't ramble on, so here is the following outline:

    DivineFifteen I read the first chapter of your story and I really like it. I'm going to continue reading a few more chapters before I give it a proper review. If the next few chapters are of similar quality to the first one I could see myself reading through the entire thing.

    Here is the synopsis for my novel:
    Hirow, a boy fascinated with the stars, dreams of the world outside his small village. His inquisitive nature leads him to befriend an old man who believes light is evil and find a girl who has fallen from the stars. Laniakea, a woman in the far north fights for survival as she escapes her past. Finding a new purpose she seeks those who have taken on the curses of this world. Calder, a prince from a kingdom far to the east, is exiled by his father and seeks to reclaim the throne. Yet his search for truth and revenge in this mad world leads him down unexpected pathways. As the fate of Hirow, Laniakea, and Calder converge, the mysteries of their world are brought forth.

        I've added your novels to my library! I'll read when I have some free time. Thank you for your reviews of my novel thus far. I hope I won't disappoint you. 😅 My first book is arguably quite rough around the edges, so you'll have to mind my quality until my second or third books.

You have massive potential and the world is so interesting that I'm definitely going to keep reading. It may take me a while to catch up though. In terms of the writing, you do character emotions and dialogue really well. And it seems you have planned out the world in intricate detail. The only negative thing that I've noticed is sometimes you repeat adjectives in a sentence instead of varying your vocabulary. This isn't a major problem but just something I thought I would point out. I hope you enjoy my book too!

                I'm glad that you're enjoying it thus far! I hope you'll see it through to the end (of the current chapters). My novel/lore has technically been 10 years in the making, and I've only recently started to publish it once I believed my writing quality reached 'decent' enough of a level. It's funny too because there's a lot of things I made up on the spot as I was writing it, so I'm curious if you'll pick up on those parts.

                Repeating adjectives is quite interesting! I guess it boils down to my specific writing style, since I like to emphasize things more 'aggressively'. That's also why I started using exclamation marks more! I will keep your feedback in mind! Feel free to critique my novel as you see fit. I'm not one to get offended by it.                     DivineFifteen 10 years, wow that's a long time. I've only been developing my novel for the past 5 years and there are still some details I need to work out. I will keep reading at a somewhat steady pace. It seems like your story is building up to some grand moments with all the planning that has gone into it. I also saw the comment you made on my story, so thank you for the feedback. I saw that you mentioned you didn't really connect to Hirow yet. I recommend you read up to chapter 6 to better understand him. Any feedback is also welcomed.
