      Could anyone recommend me a few where romance isn't too prevalent?

        Soyboy Clock Link on RRL has multiple main characters, both males and females. It's my favorite RRL story and doesn't really have much romance, it's a mystery action story.

        I suppose I can also be shameless and suggest my own story: God Vessel Online. Also doesn't really have much in the way of romance, the focus is more on the MC being a closest gamer and getting an opportunity to play a VRMMO. A casual slice-of-lifey story.

            Is there something new? I am bored reading scheming plot. Mostly of them have same kind of plot...

              BabyTanuki Lol, I think as my pride as a man will never allow me to read this book. I just have a weird thing for hating on elves on everything. Looking at the cover, I just dislike the ears. I think that I'm being weird.

              Why am I complaining, I haven't even read the book. XD

                  idkmylifeisamess lol it's cool. I actually only had them be elves so I can make the story long and span thousands of years. It really plays no part in the actual story besides expanding their lives. They don't all shoot bows and arrows and live in woods. It is more like Final Fantasy, where they have different jobs/classes, but not everyone fights.

                      BabyTanuki Its not their bows. It is the weird 'fantasies' others make out of it. there are too many stereotypes:

                      Big breasts
                      strong at magic
                      sensitive?

                      The last one, I would say, not that sure, but you know how it works. too much of that ecchi. I think the novel that got adapted into an anime 'how to not summon a demon lord' does the same. I read the manga, and it had got that good ecchi, I eventually started to hate it due to the elves. Same for the novel 'womanizing mage'. It was a good sex novel, till you know, elves.

                      I think I also had a dream of an elf existing in real life, too realistic.

                      So my point is, I am biased.

                          There was also that series I enjoyed for 600 chaps, heavenly jewel change. I forgot when the Elf ark began, but at that time, I knew I had to give up.
