SinfuLeeCerebral it's exactly as you have said it. The rune break on it's own has the capacity to destroy the seals. But a seal of that magnitude, which is made of a combination of rune sentences, with each individual word powerful enough to affect nature. It will take a significant amount of power both mental and soul for Kael to break that seal.

Remember I also wrote about individual runes that are tailored to a weaver. Break is one such rune, but it's true power can only be showcased if Kael can get to a higher circle or a higher realm. He doe's not need to be as strong as the person who weaved the seal to break it. He just needs to know where to hit, and hit hard. I can't say much unless you want it spoiled.

    SinfuLeeCerebral in essence just like you said. There's a concept behind each rune word. A deeper understanding would manifest the power of a rune word in various ways. An example would be the word CUT, it's similar to break. But a deeper understanding, and with enough power from a higher realm, a weaver with the rune word CUT, could slice through dimensions, the soul, memories, emotions etc. Some concepts are stronger than others.

      Also I'm pretty sure you created a new breed of vampire which is pretty hard in this day and age. Unless you're referencing vampires from somewhere else, if so please do share your source.

      A vampire that needs a year to transition. And they have a chance to get a new heart if the get powerful enough essentially making them true living dead I believe is what you said.

        SinfuLeeCerebral yes that's what I said. In a realistic way, I don't think it should be as easy as taking one night to change the entire orientation of your soul and biology. It has taken the human race millions if not billions of years to evolve, so the transition from one race to another should not be so easily done in one night. Their body would need to change gradually. My vampires are as much creatures of magic as they are of biology.

            i mean, I'm all for it. i look at it in the same light as body cultivation. when you're cultivating to become a herculean, you dont make the change over night and that could take 100 of years just to meet the minimal requirements some i definitely like your spin on it. even the whole can only carry a child 3 times thing is pretty grand

              SinfuLeeCerebral Yeah? I'm glad you like it. Besides what are the odds that a dead body can even procreate. But my vampires are capable of various biological functions. Except that their blood does not flow due to the fact that they don't have a Beating heart. But in the end they're very much unlike the normal undead, and that's because they are still living. Stuck on an edge between death and life. My vampires needed to have a semblance of mortality, a weakness you might say. And for them to have that, they have to be able to grow, to give birth. If all vampires are turned rather than born, then the whole of Shearath would be overrun by them. Then this won't have been a story about vampires in bondage, it would have been about a vampire apocalypse.

                  yeah the i generally write my vampires with the ability to give birth or to turn others into vampires as well. especially since playing the bloodline card can be so important help help give depth to a situation or the story itself you know? but unlike your vampires my living vampires are just that, living, they can keep living until the experience their first death allowing them to being the turning process of becoming an Undead Vampire. becoming an undead allows them to see a huge boost in their strength but further growth comes almost to a complete standstill (with exceptions of course)

                  so the fact that you are growing your vampires the way you are is very interesting to me. you have literally created a new vampiric bloodline. or at the very least one i have never seen before!

                    SinfuLeeCerebral Then you'll probably Be surprise about what I have in mind for the six vampire bloodlines in my story. Though I need help with it. I wonder if you would be willing to help me create individual bloodline abilities for the six bloodline vampire houses. Excluding racial abilities, and what you would consider class skills. Like the clans in naruto, they are all ninjas, but each clan is known for a particular skill. Kael will end up being the primogenitor of a new bloodline, but I have absolutely no idea what it would be like.

                    Also your idea of vampires living, before having a first death is rather unique and something that I haven't seen yet. I guess we can both be considered pioneers in the creation of new vampire bloodlines.

                        I feel like that's definitely within my ability to do. i mean what are vampire without bloodline traits lol. my main concern would just be about the depth of the seals placed on him and the other elders because you stated that they also have powerful special seals on them as well, correct?

                        i mean outside of an enriched and more full world building unless you plan on unsealing them eventually will and using every clan, do you need detailed information for all the bloodlines? i mean hell after being sealed for so long, and there being only one Dracula left, who is to say that the bloodlines didn't mutate? like a fire bloodline that could remove poison ended up becoming a poisonous yin fire bloodline from being sealed and having so much pent up rage and frustration?

                        mmm.. sorry i digress, all i can say is that there is a lot of room for anything to happen in your novel lol. one of the reasons vampires tend to be hunted in my novels is because their blood can be used like a potion and when mixed with herbs there are near no side affects. because of that many other races hunt them down and lock them away to farm them.

                        until i have a more clear understanding of why your (powerful AF) vampires where locked away i wont be sure the best way to pitch ideas hahaha. you just say what you're thinking and i'll just dump info or lore in your direction lol just let me know

                          SinfuLeeCerebral Wow. I never realised how much potential for growth and a fuck up this novel has should things go sideways with my writing. As for the sealing of the vampires,I did not want to make it to complicated, choosing to build on what I have already put in place. There was a war. But this time the instigator of the war are the same people who lost it. Vampires could be considered apex existences, with their superior speed,strength, senses and a talent for the dark side of the magical arts,they are bound to be prideful, overconfident and headstrong. But just like humanity, they will want more,need more. they fought with the intention to subjugate sherath, effectively being the first empire to come into existence. Then they made enemies of the other races of the first sun in the process.

                          As for their bloodlines I really think mutations are a good way to go.so they would have their base bloodline that's been mutated,not just because of the seal,but also because of the mineral mountain and the enchantments on it. Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.

So far your vampires are awesome and appear to be more then the standard vampire. I glad to be reading this novel, hard to find a decent vampire story that is original.

                                    [unknown] It would be interesting to see the man who Kael ate, have his son enter into the story. Perhaps have him even join Kael, or become another enemy.
                                    What has happened to the tower in this time? Does it enter into the mind bonds he has going with the two girls?
                                    Just a couple thoughts you probably already have in the works.

                                      Sdrawkcab I do have such plans. His son will show up eventually, but whether as an enemy or an ally is up for debate.
                                      As for the tower it's currently still bonding with the spirit crystal, so another three or four days in the novel, and it should be done.
                                      I have no plans of having anybody other than him control the tower, at least for the moment. For the girls to have access, would be to convenient and easy.
