Well....I haven't read WoMW and that is plainly due to the shabby job on the Synopsis especially the Translators "fan" desc as I would call it. Though I would like to say Gu Doaist has this like lure going on or....should I say like a folktale theme . At least in the 58 chapters I have read that has been the case.
The MC tends to tell tales to describe history or the use of Gu which to me is akin to a scene where onlookers are watching a fight and start explaining what moves are and how much cooler they are than other moves. This may not be the same for everyone but I'm sure some will not like the certain style taken for those especially since they are so long(that's most of my problem with it in actuality). Within the 58 chapters I have read there is more Gu stories than there are for actually story progression.
I feel like this kind of thing won't be for everyone, it is certainly my first time seeing this in a novel, I once read Aisopos the webcomic but the main character was actually known for story telling and the like so it made more sense to me lol. Maybe that might be a factor why it does not have the appearance of flies flocking to honey for this book.
