xcares Yeah well not all “authors” are ready for it. Especially when if you publish on web you need to be ready to be criticized by some and loved by some. I know a Webnovel “author” who diss people family because he didn’t like the comments and wrote a note as chapter how he r*** the comment writer family... That’s the standard for author then I’m happy they are under appreciated.
Yes, we can understand. In this case maybe an open letter from readers not to delete good reviews to boost the quality score of authors story? Author are human too and I agree with the post.
Dear Webnovel. I’m with you almost from the beginning. I’m not perfect but always put my opinion in the novel that I read. But why the hell are you accepting fake reviews and authors deleting constructive reviews just to keep score higher than it should be. I know this is business for you but you don’t care about normal readers at all. Story that has a preschooler level gramma has writing quality 4*, story that is not that great in my opinion deleted the review because author said we are from the same country and I need to support him... Really? Is this what you want? This tool should be to delete reviews that are there for exp, like “hehrhhxjdnehgskkdjeh” or things like this. No one can trust your scoring system then why not just take it dawn?

Agree! Just came here to start the same topic. I found about 120 reviews from one guy in a novel and all of them 5 stars! Novel in my opinion wasn’t that good but if idiots are leaving reviews like “expexpexp” or without any sense then sorry. And the good reviews with arguments are deleted by authors? ( Happen to me because the author did not like my score of his novel). Why do you even give opinion of leaving review if it doesn’t have anything to do with the opinion about novel at all!? My proposition is to give opinion to report review or comments and after a number of reports “ban” the account. I could see people leaving reviews from few accounts with the same comments and the accounts are different just by the number at the end.

I don’t know about you guys but when I login right now to my app my view is like in the fucking harlequin store. I’m not disrespecting people that like to read romance novels, But please take in the consideration those that dont. I’m seeing all those female protagonists and the romance here romance there. Can you please split the view like in the voting for new novels? I don’t give a ... about them, now if I wanna find some novel that is interesting I need to go through all that romantic shit. Sorry if I hurt someone feelings.
