  • My favorite novel that has not updated for years has suddenly updated out of nowhere. I'm shaking, cause I'm really happy. It's still as good as ever! I thought I'd never see any of the characters anymore and honestly lost hope a long time ago. This novel has influenced me a lot more than the author probably thinks, sometimes while making tough decisions, I think about the MC and what he would do and it honestly helps. I was saddened when no updates came anymore.

Anyways; I guess I wanted to ask you if there ever was a book, novel, anime, manga, movie that has made you feel so emotional before, that it had influence on your life, from mundane or random to memorable experiences.

Edit: Oh yeah, Rebirth of a Broken Demoness is the novel I'm talking about lol almost forgot. I don't think links are allowed here, but I#d definitely advise you to check it out. It's great.

I will recommend this novel then. It ain't mine so it should not be of concern right ;).

It honestly is a good one, you should check it out. It's similar to black tech internet and dungeon supplier, only difference, the author knows what she's doing. I promise you, you won't ever feel the dissatisfaction like ch 105-110 of dungeon supplier or think the story is repetitive. Well, I can't really promise you since I don't know what direction the story is supposed to go, but judging by her past books, you won't be disappointed.

      • So does anyone else feel bad about the plants? They are easily the most prosecuted race.

There's always that arc where a flower blooms, and all the sects flock wit the MC to try and get it. They soon start a blood-war, killing many people for that simple thing. I always thought it must suck to be that cannon fodder that dies for something you won't even receive, but then I realized, wait, the thing that suffers the most is that flower here. It's not necessarily that the fodder dies, but the flower, oh yes, that's definitely dead—rooted of the earth, ground into mush to make some medicine.

It's even worse when you realize that some plants can gain sentience. Imagine you are basically a living piece of fragant wagyu steak living in a world filled with wolves. Leveling up 500 years unmoving in the ground, just to act as food for 30 seconds.

Damn, let the poor plant live.

There's a simple reason for that, people on sites like RRL, Wattpad and now Webnovel don't try to create classics (or maybe they did in the beginning but not anymore), as those do not generate popularity. See for yourself, all the top 10s on this site are either generic porn plots with some fantasy, or generic divorced romances (I call them like that because it's most of the time 30 yr old single ladies who read that).

A good story requires time, preparation and effort. in other words, everything that goes against what generates popularity here.

        Let me explain:
        1. One of the main ways to generate viewers is to update daily and consistently. For a good book, that's way too hard. It's not impossible, but a lot more easier for the shitty books.
        2. To keep viewers, they need to look forward to new chapters. Meaning, every chapter needs some instant gratification, which is why many books here have a that repetitive story line which builds up two chapters to give a small face-slap. A good book, which requires foreshadowing and exposition will be admonished as too slow, or having nothing occur.
        3. You need to update chapter by chapter. Every good author knows that every good book requires a draft and countless editing. That is not possible when you update chapter by chapter. In a traditional book, you complete the story before publishing and thus can look back at any mistakes you made in the plot. But here, it's not possible, since you already updated it.

To conclude, if you want to be popular or earn money, it would be wise to go against your judgement and write those 'shitty' books. That is also the reason why there are so many. Can't really blame those writers, really. It's just how the system works.

Though funnily enough, the person you replied to has written one of the deepest books on this site, dealing with life-death, judgement and justice, love and betrayal, heroes and villainy. One of the most philosophical books I read, though it can drag on at times. Also, it's well written (most of my English, I learned from there lol). It is, by my definition a good book, furthermore it manages to do so under these grueling circumstances..

Rebirth of a Broken Demoness, check it out hehe.

        • Am I the only one who cannot access the site and its books?
The frontpage works fine, but the rest is dead.

          • Imma be honest with yall, i dont give a rats booty bout whatchu all be thinkin bout originals, but this is hands down the best novel I ever read

Yout got an OP Mc, who for the first time in novel history, dont matter if its chinese, korean, japanese or what ever the f kinda race you readin, is not a goddamn retard. Not an idiot whos only redeeming quality is that he is OP with sum kinda highlevel cultivation, or a spineless loser, who only knows how to hide.

Its a well written abd perfectly executed story with faceslaps left and right.
