  • Cleo_lizabeth I'm glad someone agreed🙏🏼 and intrested. Thank you! Though I'm new and got inspired to write from my treasured Authors I can't say mine will be flawless and ideal. Very much like yours... strong hearted, tragic past, lifestyle story... I liked flawed yet strong headed and dynamic characters. And yes, I'm also not a hardcore feminist who wished for the world ruled by woman and husband's being all time a complete wife slaves. There should be instances of spoiling, pampering and all but too much sweetness kills the mood. But I want equality both ways. The masculine and feminine should be balanced and their core aspects should be appreciated. That is essential part of leads personality. I'm currently writing and working on a love story which is a spin of fiction... I don't know if I'll publish here or not but let's see.

  • ReincarnatedSaint ReincarnatedSaint ReincarnatedSaintAre you kidding me, kid? Really! Bollywood has nothing like reincarnation. Okay, then allow me to share my poor knowledge with you. Where should I start from...okay let's see some facts of our reowned actors.

    1. Raabta (Staring: Late Sushant Singh Rajput❤️ and Kirti Sanon)
    2. Love Story 2050 ( Priyanka Chopra Jonas & Harman)
    3. Om Shanti Om ( Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone Singh)
    4. Teri Meri Kahaani ( Priyanka Chopra Jonas & Shahid Kapoor)
    5. Karan Arjun ( Shah Rukh & Salman Khan)
    6. Ek Paheli Leela ( Sunny Leone & Jay Bhanushali)
    7. Dangerous Ishq ( Karishma Kapoor &
    8. Karz & Karzz ( Rishi Kapoor & Himesh)
    9. Mr. Ya Miss ( Reincarnation and body swap)
    10. Suryavanshi ( Salman Khan & Amrita Singh) and etc...

I can understand if you love Bollywood and intentionally choose to ignore these crappy ones cause there are other good ones. But none in reincarnation concept and I was talking about just that.

And if you know most chunk of Bollywood love or other stories are successful because those were based on commercially hit Novels, Biographies written on real Heroes, some True Event or Historical Warrior' love life or mostly inspired from somewhere... and that's why reincarnation in Bollywood sucks. Most Indian Author's restraint from writing it cause it is very difficult write convincingly. And Of course because writer have wide range of ideas... all thanks to India's colouful diversity, various ethnicity, rich culture, different idealogy and history and what not to dwell upon. That even a love story of IIM students from two states became the best seller book & movie or hits like "3 Idiots" which is based on novel "Five Point Someone" addressing systems loopholes. There's this orginal content and fictional content and it is mixture of all kind. But whatever is crappy should be called crap.

And that's what I repeatedly saw on Webnovel's trend of reincarnation. A bunch of stories is fine but when you read every other story follow the same setting is kind of boring. Storyline becomes predictive and even if Author introduces new characters or describes beautifully readers can't wait for the story to reach its climaxe. And the you look back to whole story you found out that other than Author's decision to choose and being biased towards the Female lead there's no quality or reason that lead should be given the second chance and even you feel sorry for those villians.

I hope you can understand my point of view. Still didn't get it. Think about why the recent movie "Bulbbul" got critical public reviews despite being artistic visual treat, good acting cause it lacks in solid plotline, immature writing and storytelling as it turn out to be one time watch if not for its outdated theme of woman empowerment. I'm considering you know and watch Bollywood.

    Thank you!

    • hayatahmedallah Hey! Are you an indian? If yes, then have you read " Prithvi" on Wattpad by VermillionBlue. And I'm not talking about any fanfiction of legendary Prithivraj Chauhan's love story🤭 it's a original novel by Ranjana.

      • hayatahmedallah Oh no no!!! i don't think it will be considered as copy of Kumkum. It's just cliche...like most romance novels here... has villain sister's or white lotus troop. I read few chapter of Young brother in law...it's a different packaging of concept. It was a good read. There are few dramas on similar idea but different story.

      • yiyuehua Thanks. But the question is not just about new setting and concept. It's mainly of character liking...I mean readers will only read if they feel someway connected to the novels or main lead. And when everything will be new to them will they even bother to try. Well I had a hard time connecting and caring for the leads and continue reading those story. So much injustice targeted. Mostly to female leads...they were described beautifully strong and to be decisive lady by Author but their decision and action made them look indecisive and amateur.

        • CPU replied to this.
        • Hello there, though I'm new to webnovel what I noticed on webnovel romance trends/ranking is quite the same and repeated. I'm unsure if other than Chineses leads and couple of Vampire Romance novel other stories will be appreciated here or not. In romance genre almost all novels revolves around CEO type, FL heartbroken/abandoned by family, Underworld boss, and mostly based on face slapping villains. Is it all time trends and mass readers choice.

And OMG!! What's wrong with reincarnation/rebirth concept...female leads dying/killed and then suddenly replaced back to revenge...stories...I'm shocked!!!

Haha! Honestly I thought only Bollywood has this shitty concept of messing with reincarnation/rebirth stories and concept of Karma!!😂😅

Please...Pardon my ignorance as I don't know about Chineses concepts... but it's truly shocking for someone like me who had mostly read intense/heartbreaking reincarnation/rebirth stories and Hindu mythologies. I'm really speechless!! Why Female Lead reincarnation is only restricted to CEO's love and revenge! I wish females could be more ambitious...

The only novel which has convinced me mildly on reincarnation concept is "Supreme Magnus" I think that author did justified it with ML's tragic back story and Liths next new beginning after reincarnation. Though idk why author choose to give Lith all mermories of past life instead of giving him the grit of previous life. I mean that's the whole point of reincarnation. Tragedy, Unfulfilled desires, Reincarnation, peculiar choices, realisations, and giving the lead roadways to choose path for himself rather than him accepting the given life. Ik i might sound confusing on this because this where concept of Karma came into picture. And Liths character would have alot more interesting...that's just my personal opinion. I could give you an example but idk if you'll be able to relate. Cause writting a convincing reincarnation story is extremely difficult...from my standards of indian authors, they'll think hundreds of time before writng a novel on reincarnation. Usually said that it's extremely tough and few Authors can convince and justify.

Anyways, I'm extremely sorry for my unwanted criticism. I just couldn't help!! It's very very strange for me.

Please, guide me. I need your advise as I want to write a romantic story and it has very different setting and concept. Would it be worth writing here? Or it would be buried down under heaps of novel like Wattpad... I truly don't want to waste time. After all we need like readers to read like stories.

Thank you for sparing your time!
