You sure nobody has taken over your account and screwed with you?
New arrival. Good day everyone
Not sure how it is on the app but on the PC when I click on "Browse" there is a "New" in "Sort By". Or have they already added it after you asked?
SinB It hasn't transcended fanfic though? While it has many original elements, it's still fanfic, no matter if it's becoming a crossover or not. It seems my words have been interpreted in an exaggerated way. The point was to distance it from a fanfiction that entirely relies on the established story of the source.
After all, it seems people are fast to marginalize the effort people put into creating a story, just by being calling it a fanfic.FattyBai Did you not quite catch the issue here? His novel is ranking 6 but does not show up in either rankings. With over 1000 chapters you bring up the point of effort?
"you don't take concepts and breath new life in them by giving them a unique spin" Yes he is literally doing that. If you want to deny that by saying that it's a fanfiction then you get the causality wrong. The logical conclusion would be that his story has begun to transcend fanfiction. It is more of an overarching original/crossover novel.StenDuring You are treating the matter as if the story were just copy and pasted. That could not be further from the truth. The whole story is original and while the characters can be found in other works, they are properly introduced without the need of foreknowledge. Meaning, what is borrowed is actually very little.
Anyone creating content has the right to complain when it is observed that the work is made hard to find and it is not on you to take that away from others.
