Why does WN need to translate this novel? It gets updated pretty regularly and the translation is good. To be updated daily? Well sure there is a chance of that, but it could also end up in the hands of a translator who updates just once or twice a week and may change all the terminology and names. Also they would have to start over from chapter 1.

One of the best fantasy martial art novels I've read. Also, this was previously translated here on WN to ch 436, but stopped back in December. It's a popular novel, so it's worth it to re start the translation.
Can we just get a translator to finish the novel? Old one isn't coming back.

Read mtl too for this. It's pretty epic. I did end up disliking a lot of things towards the end though. The last 400 chapters. Fights start to devolve into power levels rather than skills, where fights start to be about how many stars or universe energy you have. Also, rulers and gods all act like little children who get offended by you looking at them or ask questions.
Still, it's one of the best written novels I've read up to that point. Has the best action scenes I've read, one of the best main characters who's reasonable, and decent plot.- Edited

Main Character Hides His Strength is a KR novel. You can read it for free online and volume 1 is on Amazon kindle.
For the mc it wasn't that he was bad at magic but rather trusted his body more than magic tricks. He neglected magic stats and put his all into physical stats and physical skills, as well as passive magical skills that supported this build. It's not much of a spoiler as it's said in the prologue, but our mc who is a godly warrior couldn't kill his first target, the demon king because scared for his life he discarded his flesh to live as a soul, something that not even someone with strength breaking the level cap can harm. And because he's the demon king he requires top tier magic stats and spells to kill him, despite souls being vulnerable to magic.
Mc learns magic rather well because he's skilled at killing mages. He knows their ins and outs, so through experience and hard work rather than talent he learns magic very fast. Still he needs to explore and take risk as he can't reach top tier level of magic doing minor quest or studying in a classroom. If you're asking what's the point then the type of story you're thinking of doesn't fit an OP mc. Main Character Hides His Strength is a good example of how to handle the situation.
Mc is OP. OP to the point he could wipe out countries and empires by himself, through it make take some time. Mc has a goal that can't just be solved by being the strongest and has obstacles in his path.
Another thing to note that while he is OP how his power works gives him glaring flaws. This world has stats and he broke the cap for strength and other physical stats are close to the limit, as well as having skills to support this build, but sucks at magic. He starts training it to complete one if his task that requires extremely high magic stats and spells, but getting magic to the equivalent of top 100 magic users in the world, on a time limit, and while most if tbe world hates him makes his path of learning magic very interesting and well earned. As for after that first task you'll be drawn in to see how his story plays out.
Another thing to note is how the mc handles being a titan among morals power level wise. He's a skilled warrior so he doesn't just fart around in battle and takes things seriously. He also as the story progressed you learn he earned his power, so you respect him more.CKtalon.
Okay. The novel I had an issue with mainly had a whole different problem. It's not that the translator disappeared or is lazy, but for the kr novel Unbreakable he had caught up to the raws and just 1 chapter behind I believe. Author from April of this year has only been turning out 1 chapter a month at best. So I'll take back flackly translators, but there's still irresponsibly by him for not mentioning he had caught up to the raws for a while now, so sub lazy translator for communication problem to the readers.
Also, World After the Fall should be complete, but says next chapter soon if you keep scrolling.CKtalon
Do they earn anything? Only popular Korean novel right now is ORV and former solo leveling that is complete, both who had big following before WN. Heck solo leveling is still in the top 100. It's clear there's a flaw preventing KR novels from being popular and making money. And early pay walls in the 10-20 range, inconsistent translators, and lack of advertising are not helping.Abandoned and mismanaged. You fail to get consistent translators and fail to promote the novels to be poplar. Paywalls at 10 or 20 chapters will never sell a novel. So will weeks and months of no updates.
Fix it.

Not here, but I once wrote a fairly long and okay web novel. I received probably close to 100 reviews or more.
Half were saying I needed to work on proofreading and some questioned if I was not native to my country. Didn't bother me as I am native and can say with confidence you can get thorough school and life with much worse. Did get better at this later on.
3/10 were genuinely praising my novel and just have their opinions and would like to see.
1/10 are reviews just saying they hate this kind if story or a better known web novel author could do it better (Yeah right). Also bad reviews about not having dozens of side stories, or just not replacing my main character.
The final 1/10 are just vile folks hating on my novel. Accusing my harem protagonist of rape, treating the harem as sex toys without minds, hating me for using Japanese LN cliches (The review was very racist), and the worse were the reviews where they pretend to praise the novel but are shitting on it indirectly. How I dealt with my reviews? Anything not real criticism or just hateful I ignored and continued my novel to piss them off. It's not worth it to get upset. I am thankful as it helped me grow a thick skin as a writer which is very important.
Check out sites like Novel updates and read the reviews fir popular novels. You'll find plenty of hateful reviews for novels the community see as top tier. And for the reviews not hateful but criticize your novel it's best to remember everyone has different taste in novels. Someone will write you a bad review for the genre/tags of your novel or the type of romance/who ends up with who. You will even get bad reviews just for writing a remotely similar novel to something popular from a few months/years ago and say you plagiarized or something.
To summerise just ignore any reviews not good or give reasonable criticism while cursing out the bad and hateful reviews to get it out of your system to just move on.Unbreakable is pretty good. It's just been left unknown by the community because
Didn't have a Novel update page till like a month ago.
Fucking Qidian put a fucking paywalls at ch 10, so not many people got hooked.
A very inconsistent and lately absent translator.
I genuinely think it's the best Reincarnator like novel out there.
The Korean novel "Unbreakable" is one of the best KR novels I've read. Good plot, great action scenes, kingdom building, and great characters. It feels very fresh and new despite taking elements from works such as Reincarnator and other KR novels. I should be surprised that this novel isn't in the top 10 here on WebNovel, but I understand why it's at the very back of the pact. The way to improve its popularity are simple.
Unlock all current chapters (179) and advertise it again when opening the app for a few weeks. Putting a pay wall at chapter 10 damned it's chances for success for the western audience. Putting willingness to pay SS aside, less than 10 free chapters is not enough to draw readers in and keep them hooked. Permanently unlock what's up now and begin anew for with the pay wall. You'll draw in the fans of solo leveling and other KR readers alike by just doing this. It may not be instant top 10, but it'll get there.
Get an additional or new translator. Someone who can release at least 2 or 3 chapters per day (Chapters are very short) and not disappear for days or weeks will do wonders for the novel and WebNovel.
Can someone in Webnovel tell the translator to put out more chapters, or something. I think chapters are already being cut in half or even 1/3, and being presented as a whole chapter. Thankfully these ch don't cost much on spirit stones, but recently we've been getting only 1 of these cut down chapters every few days. When the translator was putting out 10 or more of these chapters every few days that was acceptable, but it really isn't how it is now.
And side note. Putting this novel behind pay wall by chapter 10 really killed off any chance of making this great novel more popular. Even your best novels wouldn't survive this.
What happened.

Question. What happened to the novel The First Hunter? Is it abandoned or what? I've seen no word anywhere about this novel. What happened to the translation? Enduring the pain of getting SS for it's expensive chapters, I was readying myself to buy it's last 50-60 chapters but for weeks they're been no updates. What gives?
