  • Let me describe my unpublished one:
A fucking rich guy contracts a bunch of mad scientists to make a game real and then watches as hell breaks loose while the protagonist builds an army to win fame and fortune.

    • Unfortunately I reached 20 novels and now inkstone doesnt allow me to create more novels to participate in WPC.
Please delete my novels: "Delete me 1", "Delete me 2", "Delete me 3", "Delete me 4", "Delete me 5", "Delete me 6", "Delete me 7", "Delete me 8"
      Thanks.

      • Nizze Most of them are just ideas that I had and gave up before even publishing anything, it would be great if I could delete them... Making another account would work but its a pain to have to change accounts later just to write ;p

CCmei If I do it like that I cant participate in contests because you can only use new novels in contests T_T

      • When I try to write a new story it says that the limit is 20 stories.
I don't know how to delete the old ones and unpublished ones to free space.
Is there a way to expand this limit?

        • Where are the webpages with the info on WPC 83 and 84?
When creating a new novel the theme for the contest appears but as I click on details it to know more it leads me to the following page showing an error:

          https://activity.webnovel.com/essay/137

          Error 404 Not Found

          Something went wrong

          • Here are some tips, some from experience, others from simple logic.

            1) Participate in contests. Winners sometimes get promotions. It may not happen in large scale, but it surely happens ;) and will boost your viewers a lot as a kick start.
            2) Talk about your novel in various places, not only here, in outside forums as well.
            3) Gather a lot of followers and gain enough stones to climb your rank.
The higher your rank, the higher the chance you gain some promotion.
            4) Keep releasing chapters constantly. One daily is the recommended, but I'm sure your viewers won't mind if you release even more XD

            • An old novel which was on my library was deleted and now it appears on my library entitle as "Deleted novel1" progress 1/0.
How do I take it out of my library??
              :p

              • Lappidappi I took some time to read your novel.
First let me warn you that I am also a beginner and all I will say is just own opinion, feel free to follow or discard my advises to suit your needs ;)
Second, you asked me to make you cry, so I will do my best to fulfill your wish XD (just kidding)
Aside from the grammatical errors in "memorising" and "seperated" the thing that most called my attention was how big the second chapter is. I put it in a word counter and it indicated 3261 words, that's a lot! (for a beginner)
If it was me I would have separated it in several chapters, because:
1)I usually have a single theme or focus in each chapter. Your second chapter was really broad and had many different focus points that could be easily separated... well, they were separated but only by a --- instead of a new chapter.
2)After separating each of those points in a different chapter you would be forced to write more about those points, because you wouldn't want a chapter to be too small. This should help making these focus points more detailed and immersive.
3)Releasing chapters daily is better than sparsely because it keeps the viewers engaged.
4)If the chapter is too big, it may be exhausting for the readers to read it and for the writers to write it ;p (even more if you aim for daily release)

Well, that's all I have to say :p
Your writing will naturally improve as you write, don't worry too much and KEEP WRITING!
Another good thing to do is read the Book of Authors as it has many useful tips there.
Take your time to read it if you didn't yet.

And feel free to check my novel and make ME cry instead XD

                Good writing and good luck.

                • Mine is a bit (ok, a lot) slow paced.
The story is about an archaeologist guy who wakes up in a cave and discover he is now a dungeon lord. The story progress as he finds out more about his position, how the dungeon works and their place in the present world. Through the story he creates a farm in his own dungeon, summon some creatures to help him out, develops a business relationship with the outside, learns some magic, discover some hidden truths of this world, meets many people, make some friends and some enemies and eats as many turpins as he wants without ever getting fat.
Well, this is enough of spoilers ;p
The story is still at the beginning but it's daily updated ;) feel free to give it a try.

                  • Lappidappi I think 2 chapters are far from enough to make a good review ;p
As long as you keep on writing, reviews will naturally appear as more people get interested in your novel and decide to review it, so don't worry too much and keep on writing

                    • 8th place... not bad
I'm even a bit surprised actually XD
I thought I would drop out from best 10 in the last few days XD
Thanks for all who supported me.
And Congrats to all other winners!

                    • Dont give up because of what other people tell you. Im not sure if anyone criticized you or anything :p but dont feel down if someone does. There are billions of people in the world, many wont like your work but there are surely some who will like it. Its impossible to be loved by all, what you should care is not the ones who dont like your work, but the ones who like it.
You are the master of your own stories and responsible for their progression and conclusion. So, end it if you think its time to end it and continue if you think there is still story to be told.
Your story has just started, so I think there should be a lot left to write about, but the decision is yours...
Anyway, dont be like me who starts writing and gets too lazy to finish :p
If you are going to finish it, make a proper end ;)
