    We were notified about this book a few weeks ago. We spoke to the author who told us her detailed plot outline, and the female editors determined that her plot outline is vastly different from the TV drama's plot outlines.

    @TheBlips is right, accusations of plagiarism are very serious and it can end a writer's career. You should have some 100% undeniable proof that something is copied. You can email me at islindayang@yuewen.com if you are certain you have undeniable proof. Even then we are very sure this author has not plagiarised anything. The plot may have some similarities but if you're going to be pedantic about it, you can say 'Shark Tale' plagiarised 'Finding Nemo' because they both are about sea creatures. Similarities and plagiarism are two very different things.

      Why I Think I Am Qualified To Be a Forum Mod-- A Proposal To Webnovel

      Dear @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL and @Sunnnyy,

      Last time I checked, you told me that there were no such things as forum mods. But since @TheBlips became one, it's clearly a role. I've attempted to ask why I was ignored last time and another user was chosen, but I was ignored once more. Therefore, today, I am writing a proposal with the hopes of getting a pretty purple badge next to my name. Without further ado, here are a list of reasons for why I believe that I am an ideal candidate for becoming a mod on the Webnovel Forum.

      • Reason #1: I speak fluent English (native) and Chinese (native), as well as some Spanish (intermediate). Communication is not a problem for me. I am willing to use translating programs to help me achieve the goal of being able to communicate with those that speak all languages.
      • Reason #2: I am on the forum every single day. I have been on the forum everyday since since July 2018 (that's 519 days), and since then, I have been an active member who has contributed much to the community. I have a total of 1096 posts so far.
      • Reason #3: I am an active member of this community (main Webnovel site, Inkstone Discord, Webnovel Forum) as well as a contracted author. I understand how Webnovel works and can answer most common questions. Also, one of the main complaints I see on the forum is that there are no constantly active moderators who reach out to communicate with readers/writers. If I become a moderator, I can become that active mod who can help everyone and reduce these complaints.
      • Reason #4: I don't ask for anything besides getting that mod badge. I'll willingly regulate spam, clear up misconceptions, give advice to authors, and answer any questions on the forum for nothing but a nice badge.
      • Reason #5: I support the Webnovel platform overall. I think that it's a great platform for writers. :grin:
      • Reason #6: I am willing to abandon my habit of speaking with pure lowercase. I am perfectly fluent and well-versed in English; thus, if it is desired from me, I can become more professional in my text.
      • Reason #7: I am the creator of many Webnovel FAQs, including the Book Cover FAQ and the Inkstone FAQ. I am also the creator of the infamous Open Letter to Readers.
      • Reason #8: I am an advanced graphics designer. If I can't be a moderator, can I at least make some official book covers for this site? :cry: (I have plenty of experience for this, refer to my book cover thread for reference.)
      • Reason #9: I'll put together weekly reports of bugs, common complaints, and other statistics if desired from the things that occur on the forum. This can be useful for the tech team and other staff members. Again, all I want in return is a shiny badge.
      • Reason #10: please I just really want a badge I'm literally desperate is it really so much to ask
