I'd like to do review for review but I suck at reviewing things I'm not interested in and I don't want someone to feel like they have to read mine when they're not interested. So this is a review for review if your story has themes or a God on Earth/the human world for ANY reason.
Let's help each other out AND find stories to love.
Here's mine: The God of Love is a Deadbeat!

390:1... My collections are increasing slowly, but the ratio keeps getting higher and higher ㅠㅡㅠ
Hi. I was scheduling chapters and today I noticed that a chapter I scheduled for June 7, 12pm EST was still in my drafts at 12:07 EST.
Beijing is 12 hours ahead, so that's clearly not the time zone they're using. I thought it was local. If it's neither, then, what is it?

Wattpad had this issue at one point about 3 years ago. It actually looks to be the same company/spammer. They're adverting sketchy sites where you can play casino and card games, presumably to win "real" money. Back on Wattpad, all the covers were women in underwear so at least these don't have covers.
Anyway, I went to look for originals and noticed the same thing. Seriously disappointing. Gotta find another way to find books.
dillydally_girl All your tags are visible. Congrats! How did you get 11, though? Mine cuts off at 10.
ILLYAchan Done!
KhanQi You didn't give tags, so I added God since you mentioned it in your blurb!
Bikash2410 Done!
eternalotaku I added your suggested ones and also Transmigration and Fallen God.
Nzoputa Looked like yours were already done but I added drama.

This thread dead? I've added tags to some people above who didn't have theirs showing yet.

The God of Love is a Deadbeat is a magic realism with LGBTQ characters about a university student who just wants a boyfriend and the god who comes to help him! Full of comedy, fluff, twists and turns, as the characters seek to find happiness for themselves and each other. Read the full blurb below.
For twenty years, Jun has been able to see other people’s soulmates, but the only matches he actually wants to see, he can’t. He has no clue who his soulmates are and seems to be cursed with no romantic prospects. After he complains to the God of Love, the last thing he expects is for the god to be real and agree to help him in exchange for... an action figure?! The God of Love not only turns out to be a raging otaku but also a lazy deadbeat. Can he use his rusty powers to help Jun find a boyfriend?
Updates daily. Read here.

Sigheti it's not completely done and I have 40-something short chapters (500-1500 words). Which is half that as 1500-3000 word full-length. I heard shorter chapters are best for serials? Tbh I wrote at work quite a bit. XD I've taken long breaks due to health too. So it's really not amazing. XD I'm just lucky I decided to post here when I am already ahead. I think season 1+2 will equal 60 chapters? Which is low for this place so I'll probably need a season 3 even if the main characters change to former supporting charas.
Sigheti I'm ahead on my book as I've been posting on Tapas since November 2018. I have updates scheduled to 4 times per day. 12am, 6am, 12pm, 6pm. Because of the time zones. Majority are in the US but I also have a lot of Nigerians. Otherwise it's Philippines which is a 12 hour difference. Not to mention the HQ of the site is too. (@_@) I want to switch to once a day weekly when I get to season 2 but no clue what time.
Veronica8 I suck at math but this should be pretty easy, right? 375:1
I actually posted about 8 chapters in February and ditched the site up until last week. When I came back, I had a ratio of 322:1. Pretty confusing since I spent 5 months not updating. XD
I haven't done any promotion as I'm just now taking this seriously. Doesn't that mean since returning and updating regularly, I've gotten worse? Hahaha.Veronica8 wow, helpful. Also, very concerning about the scrappers. I mean, Wattpad has those Vietnamese mirror sites and people have stolen my stories despite the copy block. But not having copy and paste blocking just makes it so much easier. Dx
Reinesse Right? It's not even like any of these books here. I just remember some Chinese site contacting me and I'm like, "My book isn't even like your stuff. Wtf?" XD I used to have a business email in my profiles and recall a company repeatedly messaging me, but like I said, there are a lot of Chinese companies looking to take on Western clients. So who knows. XD
Veronica8 Thanks! I'm still waiting to be approved on the discord. XD

Enlightened_Being I've done a couple of contracts and I'm not sure what all Webnovel asks for, but with websites like this, it's typically not full rights. If it is full rights, run. You never want to sell your copyright, film and television rights, non-digital publishing rights, etc. If they want rights to publish the story on their site that should be the only thing requested in the contract. There's possibility of the first right of refusal, but that shouldn't be a big issue for most. It's pretty standard in contracts these days. On that note, 50% is standard for digital one-website publishers. It's not a bad deal at all considering traditionally published books get half that or less.

I'm a Watty winner from Wattpad with millions of views who came to post my webnovel-inspired book that nobody on Wattpad wants to read. And dude, let me tell you. Popular Wattpad authors get tons of solicitation from companies and publishers, both sketchy ones and legit but mediocre ones. The naive authors will fall for it. Ones like me will not even respond and just mute. I might have even gotten solicited for this site. I don't remember; there's a few Chinese sites that contacted me. But I mean, I didn't come here because Webnovel may have once invited me. Pretty sure I only came to read comics at first. It's actually against Wattpad's guidelines for people to slide into your DMs and try to sell you a deal. Sliding into my DMs or business email and asking me to come to your site fails with wise authors 100% of the time. Also, the fact that Webnovel is having its users recommend with monetary payment is weird. It's a really bizarre bribe. Generally, people will recommend things because they want to. "We will pay you if they sign with us" really cheapens it all. The "support" from readers. The author's work. And the fact that Webnovel isn't using it's own trained staff and is going to take random recs from people after an Amazon card. I wonder if quality is even a concern. This just.... Smh. Poor business plan.
