Couldn't help but laugh at this. While piracy is NOT the way to go, he's also absolutely right in that people shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars for a novel. There has to be some sort of middle ground. Maybe section off a novel with a lot of chapters into volumes and charge a flat price for each volume. Something like that. Obviously it's done on Amazon by some, but webnovel could do it too. (I know this is an old post, but so what.)

Hey folks, I really like the original novel Nanomancer Reborn and read it up to it's latest chapter a good while back. Anywho, it's been a while since I read it, and I was wondering if the story felt like it was somewhat coming to and end. It's one of the only original novels I really REALLY like, and I've been worried that it's going to be one of those cultivation novels where it goes on ten times longer than it should have. I'm not looking for any spoilers or anything. Just wanted to know if it felt like it was coming to an end sometime soon based on how the story felt.
Hoping someone will pick up these two novels. They both have a lot of chapters already translated, and are both great slice of life novels.
This is really disappointing. I saw that it was close to completion months back, so put it out of mind and waited. I came back recently thinking it would be ready for me to binge read, only to find this.. The editor obviously has no intention of finishing this. Please have another editor take over.
MikXL_23 Is that really a gender bender though? I thought gender bender was where the character PRETENDED to be a different gender than their true gender. I think it's different when they actually change into a different gender literally.
Anywho, I just caught up to Nanomancer and I'm looking for something similar as well. I really like "it's not easy being a man after travelling to the future". For some reason, I thought it was dropped or on Hiatus, but now that I know it's going strong, I guess I'll re-read it again and catch up.
What is going on? Everything is ridiculously huge! It's absolutely awful looking. Can we choose NOT to have this new design??

I’m really grossed out with the actions this website has taken recently. Went back to read a book I’ve read recently to find out TONS of chapters that used to be free to read are now all locked under pay walls. Gotten so greedy that out of 350 chapters, you’ve locked all of them under a pay wall after chapter 80. How is this any different from giving a sample read of the novel, then flat out charging them for the book itself?? It’s one thing to lock up, say, 20 chapters and let people pay to read ahead, but this is just gross..

Hey guys. I usually read on my iPad, and the current chapter selection is horrible. By that I mean, when you have to click on the chapter button on the right of the screen, then click on the next chapter title. Especially now in the last week or so because it seems to freeze for a few seconds before letting you click on the actual chapter title.
I remember a while back, I went to read some random novel, and the set up was completely different on this site. There was actually an arrow button for both next chapter and previous chapter at the bottom of the screen. It was there for like a week before disappearing.
A lot of the novels on this site, especially ones with female main characters have "chapters" that are in reality only like a page long. Having to go through the annoying process of opening up the chapter menu and selecting the next chapter every 20 to 30 seconds is a horrible design.
If you're wondering why I don't just keep scrolling down until the next chapter pops up, that's because I use iPad's reading mode since I hate the options of font available from the site itself. Using the reading mode, it only shows the text of the current chapter.
In short, please just add "Previous" and "Next Chapter" links on every chapter. Every other site does it because it's the cleanest and most efficient way to go about things. Not really sure why you insist on such a around about way to move on in chapters.
EDIT: Should emphasize, the website is freezing pretty badly this last week when I click on a chapters name to change to that chapter. Takes close to 10 seconds for it to actually switch text to that chapter. Used to be instant, more or less. I use Safari on my iPad, which hasn't been updated or anything. Only thing I can think of is that something has changed in the site itself, causing this highly annoying bug.
