Sudha_MESHRAM Alright, there are two webnovels I strongly recommend, and a third I think you might like.
The first is Reverend Insanity. It's plain and simply the best Webnovel I've ever read.
The second is Warlock of the Magus World. Once you've read 30 or so chapters, you'll be absolutely hooked.

I'd throw my own webnovel into the mix, but my MC becomes completely evil, he doesn't start off that way, and it's still early days.
Whycanti I'm not a contracted author, and if I were offered a contract I'm currently on the fence on whether I'd take it. That being said, having looked into the contract, I think what it comes down to for the author who has that decision to make is what they think the value of their story is.
If what they've created means something to them in a real, tangible way, the idea of selling the rights to that story for potentially as little as $200 a month might be entirely unbearable. If the story that they have is the only one inside them, giving it away just doesn't look like the best option. Maybe if they go their own way nothing would come of their work, but maybe something would and it would still be theirs.
If, however, the story they're writing is one of many fizzing around in their heads, of course, it matters to them, but it's more like a product than a passion, then what could be wrong with giving that product the best chance at exposure?
When it comes to my own Webnovel, It's certainly more of a passion to me than a product, that being said, it's a passion that I would like to do well. If and when the time comes that I'm offered a contract, I'll need to look deep inside of me to see if what I'm writing now is everything I have, the cumulation of all my imaginative potential. or whether it's something I can afford to sell because if the time comes when I truly want to go my own way, I have a ton of different stories inside of me that I can be just as passionate about.
My two pence on the matter
Chibitom Basically, it's like power stones but for paying readers. By spending 300 or more coins in a month, you get 1 golden ticket. You can get more by spending more coins unlocking chapters and sending gifts, but to get any, you need to spend at least 300 coins in a month.
If you ask me, it might make things harder for new authors to gain traction, but it also eliminates cheating by using alt accounts, as the accounts would all have to be funded to do so.
I'm not sure how I feel about the new system, but it's happening, so eh. Let's just see how it all plays out. It might decrease the number of webnovel authors publishing on the platform as they might be discouraged by the difficulty of getting exposure, alternatively, it might make readers gather towards the better webnovels to vote for them, as the value of a golden ticket outstrips the value of power stones. One way or the other, it's a brand new world in the Webnovel community.
