CKtalon You don’t get it. It’s not about “don’t buy it if you don’t want it.” You’re trying to justify a fcked up system that doesn’t even work. There are other forums going right now because people are upset that they’re not even getting the chapters in which they have OVERPAID for. It is unethical and that is the whole point. It is an unethical business practice. People are overpaying for chapters, some aren’t even able to access theirs but they are prompted to pay for chapters they already paid for. At this point, it has passed the limit of “don’t buy it if you don’t want it.”
darksanctuary Yeah it’s taking advantage of people. They outright rob people for money and their system doesn’t even work. They take the money and the system “fails” and people are having issues with obtaining their chapters they rightfully paid for. It’s BS. Is there not anything wrong with someone “upgrading” to buy privilege chapters on the last day of the month, then you lose it the day after because it has now expired? It’s bullsh*t. First things first, having a degree doesn’t guarantee your success. Of course, I absolutely encourage you to go to school and get your education because this will give you a major platform to succeed but I think you need to think about how YOU define success and what that actually means to you. Is it having money? Having a stable job? Being able to write and do it full time? What does success actually mean to you? Until you understand yourself better and what achievements you need to make to feel like you succeeded is what’s important. When I was your age, I was in business and earned good money for my age - but I hated my job. It was stressful and didn’t feel like a meaningful job to me. Then, I decided that I was going to pursue what I wanted which is healthcare management. I started from the lowest administration position(receptionist) my company offered. Five years later, I am a Project Manager in a huge program and I love it. So, don’t be discouraged. At some point in our lives, we’ll feel lost and not sure where we’re headed and that’s because nothing in life is ever certain. If you want to write and that’s one thing you’re sure of, make it happen. Best wishes to you.
Perhaps did you purchase the privileges? If so, that will wipe it out to give you “access” to the 5 additional chapters.... AFTER you pay the additional ss for the actual chapters, of course... it’s all a stockpile of bullsh*t.

Piokilek Like I said, this isn’t illegal for Webnovel to do it, but it’s unethical. For people to spend MORE money to read something a couple of days earlier is just robbery. Let me break this down for you. One of the novels that I’m reading charges 7ss PER chapter. With the privilege system, it will cost you 400s to read 5 chapters.. in which 2 of those chapters will be released the next day. 400s will get you roughly 57 chapters if you were to wait. I’m sorry but Webnovel’s job is to keep their authors happy and funded. Just like Toyota’s job is to keep their mechanics happy in order to do their job. Just like MY job pays me and gives me incentives to do my job well and happily. While you can support the authors your own way, if you want, that is NOT everyone’s job. Then, to top this off, the chapters that you’ve just purchased in advance will now disappear and “expire” over time and that’s just bullsh*t. Like I said, this isn’t illegal, but it’s unethical to treat your paying customers like this and that’s not a company that I would want to put my hard earned money into.
