Who knows when we'll they'll take away the novel too and throw us a huge paywall that's impossible to pass for other readers with high hopes but can't afford to pay the price all the times..

        MasterRabbink there are a lot of publishers for KR novels. Munpia ain't the same level as Tencent. QI alone couldn't even translate all of their books, so even if they signed all KR novels, they'll be biased on prioritizing CN novels first.

        P.S. rainbow turtle is the translator for LMS, so going to his site will be better. Also the raws ain't that far ahead and the releases were slow. The latter part is boring so the TLs weren't that enthusiastic on translating it.

                You really shouldn't ask Qi to pick up any ongoing kr novels. Look at The First Hunter. They stupidly began from ch 1 when previous translation, readable ones, were about 60+ chapters ahead. If Qi really picked it up they would begin at ch 1.

                    Yeah. I would rather they start from 67 or somewhere around there, do past chapters on their own time after it's complete, then start over from scratch. They wasted over 6 months for stuff we've already read. With God and Devil World they started from chapters in the late 100's, so they could have done the same.

                        OMDGEAR WN didn't target 'old' readers only. They had many readers who hadn't read the novel.

                        If they start from 67. They "SEND" their customer looking at other sites.

                        This is why 'translated' novel had lower chance to be translated. See the 'Legendary' novel request thread. Gwahahaha.

                            Well if new readers check NU they will find old links to past chapters, and comment section and LCD will reveal there are already translated chapters out there. There are a few ways to find those chapters. And starting over from scratch will encourage these new readers to go to those sites. Starting from where it let off is more likely to keep readers.

                                OMDGEAR Do Google ever ask its searcher to check Yahoo since it had been there first? Or perhaps Bing asked its user to check Google first? No. They are competitor.

                                Besides from Webnovel/Chinese Author point of view, that site is 'illegally' translated and PUBLISHED content. Perhaps later DMCA team would work if the other sites was too many, but early chapter is often given as free sample.

                                    I'm not saying Qi should advertise for those sites. And starting from scratch is not in any way going to deter readers from looking them up. You can't hide they exist like I explained previously, so I don't get your argument.

                                    And if Qi could DMCA sites for illegal content they would have done so over a year ago when Web Novel kicked off. Even in the forums today readers are bitching about no free chapters and expensive spirit stones, and recommending everyone to use those sites.
