There's so many mistakes from the start and in the middle of the novel there's an inconsistent terminologies in it. It was so annoying it can cause a reader to stop reading it especially those who are picky.

@WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL You should convey to translators that it's a highly useful habit to create a glossary for every series, to maintain consistency across chapters.

IAmSerendipity As you could see, the EOT has a super fast releasing rate - 25chs/week. It is possibly to mistranslate some terms in joint translating even though they have built up a glossary.

I would suggest a primary TLC/Editor that will have a final say before a chapter release if this projects has too many translators working on it for more consistency

At the time of writing, as well as when I promised a reviewer and several readers of the Epoch of Twilight novel, I am going back in time to C1 and editing my way to the latest novel as a labor of love because it's one of my first novels and I'd like for the readers to be able to enjoy it at its best.

i have been reading EoT for 275 chapter so far. i can see a lot mistakes and lots of them are being mentioned by the readers at qidian. from the mistaken quest lvl, wrong experience count. wrong name. misplaced name. does the translator or editor change midway?? or its still the same until chapter 450?
because reading through the first 200 chapter is a torture in itself.
feels like the translator from one of that shitty translator site which i forget whats the name.
i know it's not my place to complain since i dont contribute to the translation of the novel.
but this is a good novel being ruined by such a mediocre translator or editor team. a few of my friend quit reading it after 10 or so chapter. and when i mentioned to them about the mistaken quest level. they told me to just stop reading it altogether.
i'm not sure who is the translator for this series but if you read this. please please edit all those old chapters. so people can enjoy this novel better. thanks for reading.

I'm currently in progress of re-editing the work from C1 onwards and hopefully, that will improve the quality for better reading.

IAmSerendipity This novel is my baby T_T... It is the first novel I picked up and I love the story. I want other people to be able to enjoy the story for what it can be as well!
Hoping that my edits will help the new readers cope with the inconsistencies, be it my own or the author using certain terms interchangeably. My editing process will include making sure the story flows more naturally as well as standardizing all terms, recording all the quest level, experiences and powers to make sure they stay consistent throughout the novel until the latest chapters.

Xamar Hi! Am currently translating the last portions of the novel, atleast until the raws. I have edited up to C10 but have yet to upload. >_< By end of next week first 30-40 chapters should be edited and will be consistent through to the end of the novel.

He hasn't started yet. We have to make sure the newer titles are stable and up to par before fixing old mistakes. He keeps his promises so no worries about that. I've edited three of the latest chapters myself though, and all I can say is that the story is getting real dull with lots of made up stuff.

In the Chinese language, dao refers to single edged swords while jian refers to double edged swords. In English, however, sabers are technically a subclass of swords and they are determined by the size/curvature. Since there is no precise term for dao, the translators in the community including those from WuxiaWorld have been using saber for dao and sword for jian.
With dao being a single edged blade, it means that even kitchen knives are being referred to as daos in Chinese. Hence, there is no precise translation for Zhanmadao other than its internationalized name, the Horse Chopping Saber, which is lengthy and not so cool as a proper noun for an MC's weapon.

Insignia The chapter for Epoch of Twilight in Android App jumps after 100 straight into 573. So there are missing chapter from 101-572.
But all the chapters are available at webnovel.com. The problem only in the android app version.

Insignia thank you. Strangely all the chapter is there on Samsung Galaxy Note 5 webnovel android app version. But when I use my older phone, Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace webnovel android app version, they are not there. While the app already updated to latest version through play store.
