                      gorky No, i have mostly read the books written in my mother-tounge. The English novels that i have read completely are harry potter part 1,2 & 3.The first foreign author novel i read is " Twenty thousands league under the sea" by Jules Verne in my mother-tounge when i was 10-11 years old. And today is his 183rd birthday. Mostly i have read his works translated in my mother-tounge. He is also the author of " Around the world in eigty days" and " A journey to the center of the earth " etc.

                                Once a man was walking on the street with an open vessel filled with edible oil and head towards the sky. He was not seeing down so that because of some small stones occasionally coming on his way his feet would collide with them and because of this occasionally unsteady movements the oil would fall down on the ground. Some time because of not seeing down he would make children fell down who were playing on the street. Seeing this some people told him to see down and carefully walk. But the man said " What kind of deeds we (referring to himself) have done because of that we have to see down?" At the end when he came home the vessel was empty. (A story read somewhere)
