    DreamX You are a leech and by far the worst author I ever saw. Besides polluting the forum with useless posts, you achieve nothing. You managed to not even write more than 5 chapters for a single novel. As for your best novel, you deleted it yourself. I guess we will see you soon, in entry Contest 62 maybe? While you dropped once again a story because you can't work hard and want immediate success.

        Innovation Actually I really needed those harsh words. I have been trying but every time after a few chapters I find myself totally clueless what more to write. My plotting is worse than kindergarteners. I really think I should leave writing but dont want to leave it. By the way which novel are speaking about that has been deleted??

                Honestly, if you wasted less time on forums and more on really planning your novel, you could do it. I mean, look around you, that's just a bunch of nobodies that just decided to say "I want to write my own novel". Everyone is like that, well, some are true authors, but don't care about the two or three in the thousands of newbies.
                As for my rant, it was just that I was reading a threat, saw you posting two times your contest 62. Next thread, when someone was asking a real question, the exact same situation. The three threads I read had you posting on it, not caring about the content of the thread. For example, this one, it is legit for you to post your story, even if it is not really right since it is more for asking advice than promoting a novel.
                Just type, reviews shameless and you have 4-5 threads for that thing. No need to bother other people. As for your current situation, you don't need to post anything in the forums, since you don't have anything.
                First: You choose one novel and you stick to it. You don't say "oh I'm bored, let's create another" NO! You choose carefully. Also, plan at least the first 30 chapters. Basically, the first arc. If it is an eastern one, basically the backstory of the MC and the first Master SteppingStone. Just, the big lines.
                Second: You write at least 5 chapters. After that, you can browse the forums once again and post for reviews of others on the corresponding thread. You won't have a lot of views or collections for the moment, but after a week or so, it will be better.
                Third: Well, that's on you. But a piece of advice, if you are truly incapable of creating a novel, that is possible. In that case, it will be better to stop trying and concentrate on more important things. There are things that I know I can't do, so I won't waste my time trying to do it.

                    UPDATE - Review Queue CLOSED

                    Sorry for the week absence, I basically overworked myself into a cold. I'm feeling better now, and I've reevaluated my website. I'm currently acting as a content creator (give reviews) when it's more feasible to be a content curator (select good reviews). So, that means for an indefinite amount of time, I will be closing my review queue.

                    I will still be doing assessments, so you can still post your stories here. I'm actually hoping that I'll be more efficient this way and will be able to provide better on-site information for readers to search and discover stories they'd enjoy. That also means I'll probably be reworking my website layout (yet again haha) to match this change.

                    I'm still going to do the reviews I already promised. But, if a novel hasn't...

                    • updated at least three times in the last month
                    • the most recent chapter was uploaded no more than a week ago
                    • at least 30 chapters or 30k words

                    Then I'll be putting that book off to the side. I'll review once the story becomes more active. Why add this criteria? Because feedback is pointless if a story is inactive and not updating.

                                            Innovation Sometimes giving up is a good thing. But well I lack in plotting not writing, when you know what you lack, you try to learn it. Not totally give up. What I write is not utter trash, that keeps me motivated to learn, before two months I did not even know about structuring nor about the three act structure or the hero's journey.

                                            I have been brainstorming, learning, researching and trying. And when I feel that I have done everything but still cannot make it I will leave then. But I know the time is not now.

                                            Sometimes you give up, but sometimes giving up is also wrong every craft needs time to learn and writing is an art with craft.

                                                          In all seriousness, this is probably the last update that will refocus on the readers (as originally intentioned). Now 20+ chapters stories will all have a designated post showing all their information as well as any good reviews.
