Oxy Meh. The AI chip was the mechanic that made WMW absolutely amazing. Without the AI chip any sequel will without a doubt fall short of the original. If I remember correctly the only thing slightly special is that the MC picks up a descend of Leylin inheritance, and I could be mistaken with that....... Good novels don't require a cheat, but great novels ALWAYS have a cheat.

      Oxy Could you explain the cheat a tiny bit more? Does he require resources to use it, does it increase his cultivation or is it like the AI chip and just helps him learn faster but has no direct cultivation benefits? Most importantly, is the cheat trash? For example in Coiling Dragon Linleys cheat, his sovereign soul protector, is complete and utter trash in the higher realms, I mean it's useful and all, but it is simply a common item the powerful people can get or make whenever they want, unlike how in WMW the AI chip is the MCs, will never be weak, and will never be useless/common as cabbage because it's only a god tiered toy.

            Leylin_Farlier Hmmm, have you read Arcane Emperor? I can't really explain the cheat well since I have the Chinese proficiency of a 10 year old. From what I can tell, he has accelerated growth and comprehension there...

                Oxy Oh I like Arcane Emperor. That's pretty good, a cheat that definitely won't go out of style. Time dilation and accelerated learning is always fantastic, especially if it is like Arcane Emperors and he has unlimited energy in said space.... Could you try to answer just this one point though, does the space cost him anything? Like crystals, stones, treasures, etc etc etc, or is it something he can use for free so long as he is sleeping or something like that, or is it like Ancient Strengthening Techniques, where he just had a time limit that may or may not be increased at some point later?

                    Leylin_Farlier Ok... Ignore what I just said... After doing some research online, this is his cheat.

                    It starts out with a beginning almost identical to HSSB. MC is reincarnated in the villain role. After he kills the psycho hero, who also happens to be a reincarnator after a bunch of chapters, he gets something and enters God's Space or Overgod Space (This name is the same as the God's Space in Terror Infinity and functions much the same). Due to the thing he got from the psycho hero, he gains privileges and finds out no one is in control of God's Space (divine artifact Overgod Palace) at the moment. The first half is his struggles to become the true owner of the Overgod Palace.

                    Overgod Palace is actually an artifact that belonged to a dead snake being, who is a distant descendant of Leylin. Its ability is basically to select contestants from whatever world it's in and sent them to other worlds for missions. Once the contestant dies, their truesoul is harvested for their insights. Its purpose original purpose might have been to discover the way to reach level 8 and beyond by studying various worlds (in immortal cultivation, it is called universal golden immortal (level8) as opposed to golden immortal (level7), which is restricted by the world/dimension/universe they are in, when they leave their home world they weaken)

                        So it is something like that spatial training artifact in Stellar Transformations

                        Oxy Thank you for the insight. This definitely makes the novel sound much better. I wonder which snake descendent made this thing.... It's a pity that the tool will lose it's purpose after he reached the peak, but it's still a rather nice tool anyway.
