I've read a few short BL novels or manga before, all of them have required me to stop reading almost immediately after they start acting gay, as if they are not men who are gay but rather gays who happen to be men. It feels trashy and meaning. I've recently started "Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil" and have fallen in love with this novel, catching up to it's current release in only a single day.

So guys, I'm looking for the following;
A lot of chapters :), because I'm not a masochist
MC similar to the one from QWFOD
PURE ROMANCE! No smut manwhores that make the MC look like a mexican food restaurant serving free fish tacos.
Slapstick, face smacking, and general badassery are all great things to have.

PS: I don't mind having a novel with no romance,just having the MC be overtly gay and getting into fun situation would be fine too, but I doubt their are many if any BL novels where the MC has his homosexuality being used as a gag reference, so ignore this if none exist.
PSS: I've read Super Lovers, and other than how trashy the whole jealousy thing is it was pretty good.

I don’t really have recs because the points you brought up are so widespread in an already small genre, but Dominion’s End is pretty good in my book, although not really “BL” as much as gender weirdness due to transmigration/possession/whatever. Cannon Fodder’s Counterattack is pretty good too.

            Try reading Who Dares Slander My Senior Brother. It is a transmigration/ancient setting one. If you are looking for ones like Face of Devil, then try Cannon Fodder Counterattack System.
