Just finished chapter three of Zaldizko; I'll probably read a few at a time since the chapters are quite long, whew~!
I do suggest considering splicing the chapters (maybe in half) since-cough-you'll get more views, but more importantly, the flow of reading might be better in terms of processing the events. It'll also allow commenters to be more precise in their comments. Er, I guess this sounds weird. But for me anyway, when a chapter makes me want to comment on a lot of points, that usually indicates to me that the chapter had too much content, and I don't feel like taking all the time to comment, or only comment part of what I wanted. That might be a personal thing though. XD
On this note, it's interesting how the format/platform of the story changes how one reads it. With physical books, I can just read on and on without any concerns for length, but for mobile, I get bothered easily. On a larger screen like a laptop, length is a little less of an issue, but even then, the scrolling action tires the eyes after a while.
I guess this isn't unexpected though. While scrolling seems easier, the movement of the words after a while is jarring to the eyes. I could never read as much in one sitting on any kind of computer screen as I could with physical paper..
As for views, collections or whatever else, it seems to be more a cyclical thing on Webnovel. XD The time it takes to build up a large enough audience to rank on the powerstones and thereby possibly increase reader passerby volume, is very long. I can only imagine featuring and contracting would boost stats otherwise. It's a shame the support for originals isn't very high on here. But I suppose everywhere this is a problem. Maybe one day someone will figure out a better algorithm and structure.
(Wah it looks like I wrote an short essay x_x)
