I don't even know what to do on this app anymore. Everything costs an arm and a leg and I refuse to pay.

Kuromeru666 Yup, beside 2 novels that are hard to come by or updated with much delay on other sites I only use WN as bookmark app and to talk crap in this thread. But privileges ruin even that, because now I have positions in my library with 50 unread chapters and it irritates me greatly :)

      Addic Lol well they listened to authors and created privelege instead. Now you pay for the privelege to look at the chapter list, wich eventually runs out, you still pay to unlock chapters as normal ;)

        SneakyMinx i even think hard to decide if i wanna be a priviledge reader, after the "elite subsciptions" ended. and then i read someone mention that its not worth it. so it decide just like that. i don't interested become a priviledge reader

            SneakyMinx I can afford it, but I won't buy it. Why? Because it is a blatant and obvious ripoff. Even if you purchase WN's most expensive spirit stone package, it is still not enough to afford the 50 chapter privilege.

            That's how expensive it is.

                The words "Premium" , "Elite" , "Privileged" sounds like noob, idiot, dumbass at this point.
                Does anyone know how to set up a reddit thread so we can talk there in case this thread gets deleted by the moderators at some point? The thread needs to be searchable on Google for all the pissed off webnovel customers.

                To be honest I'm royally pissed off at this company for how disgusting they are. We need to spread awareness of their methods and business practices so new customers dont get addicted and scammed. They can get information from there if they want to, and we dont need to keep bumping this thread up for people. We can just make new threads to use certain search terms in Google.

                Some people are mentally vulnerable and they read to escape the pain in their lives by being in Novel Worlds. If these people get addicted to the novels here, they may end up spending an exorbitant amount of money because they may not be thinking rationally.

                Some of these people are the so called "Whale" spenders. I dont like how this company manipulates people, especially vulnerable people who actually cant afford to read on this app.

                  Guys, go to the app store and edit your rating, tell ppl to stay away from here. If they don't listen to us through the forum maybe they will listen through the rating in the app store.

                    Just decided to jump.ship. use google people. There are altenatives and comptely free. I was waiting for Elite sub. But, instead they brought privilige which i essentially a scam looking how they market it. Some authors and translators are even defending it. It is crossing my bottom line. Now, i dont feel conflicted anymore reading my fav novel in those free sites. If QI does not give a fuck about us, what should I?

                      But the problem is that they will continue to do this shitty practice.
                      The app is still rated 4.5 on the play store, the funny part is that most of the last reviews are in the range of 3 to 1 stars.
                      I think we need more ppl to rate low the app and the site and hopefully lower the overall rating.

                          Yup I didn't mind elite since it gave unlimited but this is just insulting. Paying $10 to unlock 25 chapters and then having to pay for the chapters after its just just a gut punch after the kick in the teeth.
