  • 【Important Announcement】Monthly Elite subscriptions adjustment

So anyone know of good cheap replacements for this site as I can’t take this crap much longer I’ve been with this site for about a year now and I’ve seen it turn from a decent site into a money grabbing manic that has no regard for it readers or authors and I hope that the author can find a better site to show and sell there novels and for my fellow readers that wish to stay with this site I wish you a good luck and for those that know any replacements can they tell us about it so we can do the wise thing and not get trapped in a vicious loop masterfully played by qudion/webnovel

    Please bring back the monthly subscription. I used all my SS to support our dearest author. I spend almost $300 to buy SS to gift our authors. 😭

        Tempesthorne Or we can just go to sites we’re all of the translations are completely free and say screw it since we pay so much money to read only a dozen or so chapters before the subscription id rather just go buy whole books or read these same novels free elsewhere but I prefere supporting the authors I like but can’t do it if it’s always getting more expensive like this

            I only know about the cancellation of subscription today because I cant renew it. I bought the premium sub because i too lazy to buy ss everytime i wanna read. To be honest, most original novel were write by amateur author.. It kind of impossible for me to splurge on them if not for the subscription. So, sorry for the original novel in my lib, gonna drop u now.. Dear author, u wanna blame someone, blame on the @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL . U know what? I dont want to buy any Ss anymore, I protest!!! Erghh.... really ticked me off.. No notice at all, u think everyone open the forum????? So unprofessional!! 😠

              Decadence1 I use Novel Updates to search for others novel. Most of them are free on other sites. Of course they have the official pages for the translations (some of the novel here were free on other sites before they got licensed).

              Search for others novels there are so many good novels everywhere. I liked quidian because I got regulary updates but I won't spend 50$ or more again for it per month.

                LadyCallys i read more than 20 novels and drop half of it. TT_TT i pick the one that i wanna read the most. Down to only 10 novels. Hikz

                  So the money I spent was essentially webnovel stealing from me, as all the chapters I have read while on subscription are now locked again. I must say, this move of yours really disappointed and enraged me.

                  Decadence1 Google fictionpress, fanfiction.net, Kindle unlimited. Project Gutenberg. All the above have so much more to read that you will never run out of and all are either free or minimal subscription that's easily cheaper than Qi sub was for a miniscule selection in comparison.

                      There is a very simple solution to this for me bye bye Webnovel app. I will check back in a few months to see if you have re thought the subscriptions.

                      For the people complaining about not being able to reread stuff.
                      Do you expect to be able to watch movies or series that you've watched on Netflix too if you cancel your Netflix subscription?

                      That said I'm not happy at all with elite subscription shutdown, and this is hardly about some translators and authors earning less money as much as qidian figuring out they earn less money from SS sales.

                          driele I agree entirely with you, and if maybe the game had different sizes of rewards which gave larger amounts of ss that would be helpful to all the people who don't have the cash to buy ss and make it relatively more easy for people like us to read the books we want to read and or continue reading

                            Spfere for myself, I personally love to go back and either reread a part or the whole book again, and with the elite membership it let me finish a book that I was reading, but since the membership ended(I hadn't bought it again in the past due to being broke) I havnt been able to go back and reread them and am having to go and spend more ss to unlock them again to reread them

                                This sucks. If there is no membership I cant see how it's worth it to use this site. Trying to buy as just ends up costing too much. At least with the subscription I could read all I wanted to.
