eV1l_1aNdl0rD I've stopped reading any novels on webnovel and only read novels on website, I use to have 1700 minutes or more but now I don't even cross 50 minutes, and you just gotta search online and the said novel pops up with recent chapters.

LouFeng1 I do know that there are websites that there are websites available that carry all the novels I read and that is how I got started with reading these amazing stories, first one was, I shall seal the heavens. The reason I liked Webnovel was because I knew that the money I was spending was going to both the authors and the translators. But there is a limit to how much I want to be taken for a ride for.

Chryiss agreed! I have so many books I got into because it was "unlimited" but now... now I'm so broke ss wise it makes me cry. I just spent 40usd and my hubby was so mad at me we ended up arguing about it
WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL I won't comment on your removing the elite subscription (although I got the notice days after the fact), because basically it is your prerogative. I sympathize with those who gifted their remaining SS and is currently left with nothing. I'm glad I was careful in gifting my SS, so I still have SS saved up. Now, what I hate about this is that all the previous chapters I've read are now locked again. Why??!! Since we were members and we read those previous chapters while on membership, we should be able to reread the chapters as we need. Basically it means we have already bought those chapters. How come you locked all chapters again? so you are asking us to double spend? We spent on membership already and now we have to spend again to reread? Same as some of the readers here, I like rereading the novels I really like while waiting for new chapters to unfold. Now, all previous and future chapters are locked and it is so frustrating. Now, I'm so tempted to drop everything I'm reading and just go to free platforms to read novels. Or just buy books which would be a lot cheaper. Lastly, kindly address all of the comments/complaints in this forum. It is no se ignoring your customers, you will only lose more and more readers.
Why not focus on ads. That way you can provide cheaper subscription, more profit and retain readers. Most of the app I use relied on ads even though its annoying, it still works.
Sorry but im not buying anymore SS. If the membership program comes back than so will my wallet.
Llamakuma noticed your comment about repeating information. For a SS cost I can understand, but look at the author. Sometimes those starting out make the mistake of doing this (I know I have in my first novel) not to inflate the word count but from the way they see their story. It is not always about money.

Takom3_evol Same, I found so many good books this way. I was also encouraged to read and discover more stories to make the most out of elite. I enjoyed giving gifts, too; although, the SS were free, so they were essentially useless. XD
Now all the novels that I started in premium are locked and I have to spend even more money if I want to reread them. That's just dumb. I already paid for those novels and read them once give them to me free.

I’m missing the subscription already! Now I’ll prioritize reading chapters over sending gifts to my favorite authors. How much longer do we have to wait for the revamped subscription to come back? 
Bring it back! Stop toying us around to maximise how to milk us. How can there be a perfect solution for all writers when they have different release schedules... it's just a way to say we (QD) wants to find the best way to milk every single cent...

This is very disappointing. While we all want to support the authors as much as we can, the cost of spirit stone is ridiculous. To read one 1000+ chapter web novel cost more than my college textbooks. The authors aren’t going to make any money if there readers can’t afford to read. And in the end what’s the point of a novel that can’t be read.
