I almost gifted my ss. I'll finish all the ss i have then ill take a break from WebNovel. I have a few novels from a different website that i have not read in a while.

I'm just gunna do some math here based on my own reading habit while inbetween work shifts and on break which gives me about 7 ish hours per day to read I personally work 6-7 days a week however I read roughly 1000+ chapters a week anyway due to being on nightshift and having no life xD but that means i would spend roughly $140 a week or $560 dollars a month to enjoy some books(If i could read all I wanted without a tight wallet lol,does not include free spirit stones that can be earned). Now here's the math a 9 spirit stone chapter has about 1,625 words in it which mean in a 1,000 chapter book that would cost me roughly $140 I read about 1,625,000 words and according to the average cost of a 50,000 word Ebook on Amazon $2.99 (amazon takes roughly 30% writer gets $2.09) in total for all 1,625,000 words or roughly 32 Ebooks off of Amazon it should cost around $97 however we end up paying $140 which is roughly a 43% increase from the average cost based on word count alone now there are factors I don't know such as time spent per chapter or how many people are working on each chapter or how much web novel takes per chapter purchase but with the information i have available to me this is what I noticed just thought I should jot it down and share with y'all 
However now its back to just a select few books on here while Google helps with the rest which kinda sucks cuz id much rather help the translators/writers out but at the current prices I can't allow my self to.

The problem I'm having is that now, chapters of novels that I had already paid for long ago, BEFORE I got the elite membership, are now locked behind a wall of spirit stones. If this happened to anyone else (sorry for my impatience, didn't have time to read through everyone's comments) then it's even more inexcusable. I agree that the authors should get more. But I also hope that our previous investments would be honored instead of stripped from us. If this isn't fixed, then I am going to drop WebNovel, and go somewhere where my money and time are more appreciated.

I personally wanted to gift my favorite authors/translators my SS that I had left over but most of them didn't give that option. Maybe they should have that on all stories so they can get them.

With all the books now locked its not eash for people to enjoy reading on this APP being a free user. They dont even unlock the finished books, which I remember they said they would... hah its been about 12-13 days yet no comments from the webnovel team... are they really trying to starve us?? So that we pay more when they release new things?

TheChakaron basically, subscribe elite mmbrsp give us all free chp to read. But since we don't unlock it using SS, so it unlock again. Like events for free reading with limited time, but then lock again.

Webnovel can cancel the elite membership but they must honour of what we hv read. Webnovel cannot lock of the novel the member already read during the elite membership time. NOT FAIR..

20$ subscription for an unfinished book is expensive enough, it's not subscription system fault, but your internal system fault, come on man how can you increase your user count if you're not user friendly

I am just going to change my ratings on the play store because now that most of the books have so many chapters locked, just for me to catch up would cost me hundreds of dollars. For free users. This app is no longer worth it!
Still waiting for the refund on the subscription that you charged to Google. It's been over a week since it was charged. Which was apparently after to posted this stating it was cancelled. Of course not sending out a notice to anyone. So for all those payments you got from Google pay subscribers all we have to show for it is locked chapter and you wanting more.money to unlock them again
So when are.we.getting our.money back. Cause this whole thing seems to be about money and the lack of it. So now we have to wait for you to give it back. Seriously a screwed up system your running.
