I lost what appears to have been all my previously unlocked chapters when I went to elite and then it was cancelled out - do I have to buy the ss and unlock them again?

      WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL seriously?! I started reading a lot of novel because of the subscription. Now that its gone, Its gonna be hard to even catch/keep up with the chapters because of how much SS one chapter cost. Cant you guys just ask the authors or give them an option if they want their works on premium or not. If not , just dont allow their works to be accessible without having to pay stones first. Then just keep the rest on premium.

      With the amount of novels I read, buying a minimum of 3k stones a month wont be enough!

      Will use all remaining SS that I got before premium was released, then its bye for me till a new premium is released

          Same here. I added more novels to my list after getting premium. I also went back to a few older ones I liked but dropped because of the cost getting high at times.

            I'll drop my novels slowly. I have only 5 novels left to read. The others are in my library but I won't spend spirit stones for them. I stopped to read comics sompletly. I use webtoons to read comics. It is for free...

            I think I will drop the others after using all my stones. That is what they want.

            By the way I haven't read 300 minutes this week. When I was in the membership I read 600 minutes in 3 days...

              And sad news for the big novels. I stopped them since they didn't like the income they got from the membership I have only one finger on my hand for them. 🖕

              I used to read so many novels here, but now i can only read less than 10. I have to ration my spirit stones and sacrifice some novels :(

              I have to stop reading the crowd favorites like LOHP etc. This is because I don't find them to deliver as much value per spirit stone as the novels below. The crowd favorites tend to have super satisfying face slaps, but they can be rather repetitive. I could afford to read them when I had the subscription, but have to stop for now...

                  cobaco agreed, that's not all, it's not even continuous streaming. I have seen the ui and it should mostly be ajax with single page fetches. Even the old dial up connections could handle them with ease, the servers required for this operation are nothing and probably require just 100 subscribers to maintain/ payoff.

                      That is bad. Like how i am turning to read new translation from novelupdate section for free... for years. Before i know about webnovel.

                      Need to consider this too will be dead if they dont update new way to increase reader than increase money.

                        Yeah I use novelupdates to. I started some new novels there since this site doesn't want us here...
                        If webnovel used ads and banners and increase our reading time (less costs for stones/ membership/... ) they would make so much money. But they think they don't need us and so they don't need our money. I don't know where they learned this business behaviour and such a bad customer service. Maybe they can work like that on the chinese market but I don't think they can stay long on the world market. At least europe has a higher standard.

                          I don't see why they want to piss off the western market... We are a bunch of people who dont like getting screwed over and this kind of silent treatment bullsh*t that happens in China doesnt fly here. The Silence just pisses us off more.

                          I just find it funny you're looking for more money, when plenty of site will repost it, getting ad rev, and we read for free. Tbh the premium membership was the best way to support it without breaking the bank, guess I'll read copy sites until it's back

                          I've dropped 0 novels .... I just don't read then here anymore. With as much as I read it's just stupid to pay this much for stones.
