Lets make some bets how many days will be without Lord Xue Ying this time around.
I'll start the betting .i'll say 5 days
The Curse of Lord Xue Ying
8 lol
figas666 7+ days as per the old trend it should be around 7-8 days minimum (:
figas666 4 days down, any changes to the bet?
I'd say, 11 days!
10 days from start date.
Seeing your bluff, raising it to 12 days...
i lost
Going to bet on a two full week minimum between releases this time. Gods, I wish they'd fire this translator and get another one. IET's work deserves better than this.
I’m going with 13 days, and even going to get that there won’t be a note as to why ect... not even an apology.
Don't blame the translator,, he met with an accident and his dick got cutt off.
8 days now.
6 days and I'm proven right! Maybe closer to 5 by now I'm not sure. I find myself conflicted, now... I like being right. But being right means not getting chapters to read. Not sure if this is a Win/Win or a Lose/Lose.
We can cross our fingers and hope that he is preparing for a mass release
starsari I like your thinking but this definitely won’t happen. This translator is nothing but trash, and I believe it’s nearly time for not only an apology from the trash but also from Webnovel. First time we complained was probably the 2nd time he disappeared, with no apology or explanation. Now this is what the fourth and from we can all see, nothing has been done to explain to us or even an attempt to let us know. CK has defended him but now can’t, as clearly like I said the translator is trash plain and simple. Webnovel need to come out and apologise for this miss handling of the translation, and explain what they are doing to rectify the situation here. Novel needs to be dropped from premium, because after all this is definitely not a “premium novel” release rate. But then again I don’t see Webnovel as a professional company with how shady they act.
Is it really that hard to come out and say something like: hey I’ll be out due to personal matters for x days.
Or releases will be delayed for x days/ weeks?
It would leave some disgruntled people, but not enough for this much trash talk.
Also, Qidian should have some back up translators to carry stories until a new dedicated translator is found, and to do a few chapters for translators taking an announced break. That or announce the cancellation of the translation until further notice, mark it as such, and make some degree of reparations to dedicated followers. Also canceled translations should at minimum be cheaper.
