                        It was helpful... You said there were a few redundant words that didn't seem to flow with well with the story, paragraph formatting problems and a few grammatical errors...

                        I reread everything from the beginning - changed a few words to other synonyms that I felt would go better with the sentence structures, rehauled the paragraph lengths, removed all the brackets which had the inner thoughts of the characters and the few grammatical errors I had made.

                        Let me tell you, I was more worried about grammatical errors than anything else 😅

                        For a self-confessed grammar nazi it would be too shameful to have grammatical errors in my own work lol

                        Anyways, I didn't find you blunt or disrespectful or anything as such... I took your advice seriously and it helped me realise my weaknesses so I am not going to complain to you or be a whiny brat about it.

                        It's better to receive positive criticism from someone whom I know is trying to be helpful than to be a hard-headed bull and not appreciate the advice
