  • Looking for female lead stories without romance

As per the title, I'm looking for stories featuring female leads without romance as the main plotline(but I'm fine with romance as a minor plotline). I'm female but I don't quite like reading romance stories. I prefer reading action-adventure stories.

          romance has not played a big part right now, and it's only been hinted occasionally.
          it's not action/adventure since it's about an artist, so if you're into slice of life, this should be a good novel for you. though romance might develop more later, so you'll have to be somewhat open to that?

              warmmilktea +1 for The Empress Livestream. I don't think you will have a true Romance in this novel any time soon. And it is potentially the best transmigration into a daughter of General/Prime Minister/High-ranked official that I have ever seen. However, it is also the darkest, focused on the suffering of many instead of just dealing with the inner courts filled with white lotus, green tea, and moronic families.

              After that, you have the serie of Transmigration Counterattack. The "quick-transmigrating-second-female-leads-counterattack", "side-character-transmigrations", "quick transmigration cannon fodder" and others. I don't know if that's what you mean. The "second lead" is filled with romance, the "side character" is more focused on funny things while the "cannon fodder" is far more serious. But they are just small stories with an ongoing plot, so I don't know if it qualifies for what you want. Also, I only picked the three with the highest amount of chapters, others with 100 chapters or so exists, all strangely similar but at the same time, totally foreigner.

                  Mine has one, but the story is still in starting stages. I never wrote my story initially with romance and don't see my version being penned here having any. Too much world building, diabolical magical realism going on. Plus my girl needs to figure out what her name is, this will soon begin to stir up crap for those around her. Reborn Legacy is the story.

                    Ah I don't read enough action adventure to recommend much, a lot of good ones have already been said. (like Rmpress' Livestream) But as a fellow female who's tired of the generic romance stories I like and support this thread!
