Getting back to the real topic, QI is a business company that sells it's goods and I accept it of course. It needs money and it has to have viable business system too. But alas, if you want the user's money you'd have to have the quality that the user is satisfied with. Personally, if it's good I'll gladly pay but if it's not I won't. Since now the circumstances between the translators and readers have changed. We aren't freeloaders, we are customers.

If you don't accept that I personally want quality for the stuff that I'm buying then screw off.

GoGo it is really what you think it is.

these are web novels, most of the time have lots of inconsistency, repetitions, etc. I'll rather "support" the author if they can make the novels into books and sell them.

P.S. i'm a free user/leecher and if you want to be premium, good for you. But don't act like this paywall is so great.
P.S.S. In the beginning sure most people would be premium but then later on they'll realise it's not worth it. Sometimes we start a novel and can't even finish it, drop it, etc. Web novels have over 1000+ chapters (most 2000+), that takes years, and in those years i wonder how much "support" you would've given by then.

Let’s do Math.

Today I got 17 SS and to read Premium, I spent 8+7+7+7+7+8+7+7+7+7+8+7 = 17 - 87 = -70

(RTW 695-706 which is 12 Premium Chapters and not 10)

Since the Daily Check-In gives me a terrible amount of SS I usually get 16-20 on average.

So....
If I get 16 SS a day, I need ~4 days to cover my lost.
If I get 20 SS a day, I need ~3.5 days.

From what I see, he has or is starting a trend of 8 SS followed by 4 7 SS. In this case, there will not be enough SS to cover what people will read. (who reads one chapter only?!).

Because

1) SS is still needed for other non Premium Chapters at a rate of 4SS (if not including ads)

2) SS for RTW might be not that bad since, for the same chapter, they spiked it at about 3 SS more but MMORPG is crazy due to word count. Chapter 653 for 19 SS with others at 13 to 17 SS.

3) SS being given for free is kind of scummy with the lowest seen for me is 16 and my highest is 22 (Legendary item!)

So my math tells me I am running on negatives unless I read 1 RTW and other non P Novels or I can read one MMORPG and be done with the day.

If not, I will be running on negatives....

Even my stash of ~2900 stash will not save me from the P Novels.

But...

If i spend money yeah... it is a win-win for both sides.

I pay QI who tells me on the forum that they pay royalties (so trust worthy)

So I read thinking I am paying the authors, TLers and Editors?

Also, ad revenue is at a lost? Since they implemented the SS system, 4-5 chapters can be read for SS.

QI was not the first to break into the English community nor will it be the last.

Since they have more money, man power and support...
