The expiration time of the service isn't determined by your local timezone, but by theirs, and it's UTC+8. This is also stated in the fine prints. So when you said you bought it 'yesterday', when exactly did you buy it? At what time? Which timezone?
Moreover, there is a countdown timer on the Privilege page of a novel (The page where the purchase button is), which shows you the time left to expiration should you purchase the service at that point.

Can you also make it so Privilege works for 30 days instead of the end of that month?
I have bought 2 times privilege but is not letting me open the chapter. The first time buying it was lake one week ago.. And the other was today. I hope you can help or give back what I pay. Thank you.
Your giving adjustments on bought privilege or rather rebates but on my account I dont find it, thats not fair dear.. I hope its just late on posting. Thanks
Why does my bought privileged chapters removed the next months(october's privileged chapters removed by 1st november)?
i understand if the updates are stalled if i dont purchase more privilege the next month,but i need to repurchased the chapters i already bought a month ago???it's simply BS if you ask me

MyLittleTreasure so bad until now still no letter received on the adjustment or rebates, its not fair, still no message on my inbox, in my two accounts I already claimed. Its a big help cause 50 chapters of the novel Im reading was lock because of the reset. So costly if I will open again the one that I read already... Maybe I will wait after one month because the story update once or twice a day....
Bluepumpkin yes because of the reset, so the chapters you paid will be lock again but they are giving rebates with an open letter then you can claimed a certain percentage of rebates from the total you spent , am still waiting for that letter of adjustments...

you should find another way that we can't pay again the previous chapter that we unlock on previous month! i unlock a privilege but useless because those chapter are already unlock by me on the previous month.. my stone is gone for nothing.. 
I just paid for spirit stones only to find out that it's unlocking privileged chapters that I had previously unlocked with spirit. I'm being ripped off.
