So, a lot of you know that I write a lot, and talk at length about my "serious" writing outside of WN. Well, Second Life is fun, but its not something I'm putting a lot of effort into. I want to stretch my legs on this site and really see what I can bring out, skillwise. I'm also due to start a new "serious" book.

I will continue to update Second Life daily, but starting the first of next year, I plan to start posting a new novel on here that is, for lack of a better way of putting it, a "tryhard" novel. One where I actually do all of the real work of writing I normally would, and write to my highest skill level possible. The focus will be on quality, and will be updated once a week on the same day every week.

It will be called "For We Are Many". It will be a fantasy story with two leads, political intrigue, and complex world-building. Once it is finished on here, I will be sending it out for formal publication.

What I am posting this for is to start finding readers who are willing to ruthlessly critique, question, and dig at every facet of every chapter I post. I am not posting this story for attention, and don't give a shit about harsh feedback or bad reviews. I care about the resulting product being good enough to make me money, and further my career.

If being on on-tap critic sounds like your bag, let me know. Also, should you want more information about the story, this is the place to ask.

I dunno about famous. I am deliberately super tight about my anonymity for a reason, though.

And yes, if it is worthy of being flamed, bring it on!

Clowniac Working on two novels at the same time?

It's really hard to constantly switch between them. Different scenes and characters, their development and stuff. Curious to see whether you'll do better than most and not neglect or even abandon one after some time passes. I know that I personally lost the drive to write both of mine for a while when I did. Hope you do better.

      Good luck with your novel!

I haven't read from you before but I'll look forward to this and hopefully will be able to keep up with the story till the end. Best wishes for this one!

I have routinely written multiple stories at a time. I've been writing others outside of WN while I write Second Life here. I have never really found switching hard, though that seems to make me an outlier. A whole lot of my writer friends cant stand doing it. And a lot of them are way more talented than me.

          Damn you took my plan.

But imma just post one novel. Feb imma post second novel. March imma post last 2.

Clowniac Cool. I think you'll do awesome with it.

Although, it seems you have Webnovel Official watching your efforts like a hawk. No pressure in that area right? .

But knowing me it maybe delayed anyways lmao. I wanna get roughly 100chpts stockpiled before posting

Well, that should guarantee a 'clean' result. Not going to use the word 'good' or 'bad' since I'm aware that clean writing doesn't always translate into a good story. All gods know I have some clean writing delivering lackluster stories myself.

Given some harsh but constructive input you should be able to remove all dead weight as well, which is a tremendous help for fixing the pacing.

If you plan to formally publish the novel later, I highly suggest carefully reading the ToS of the site.
