I mean fool me once, shame on me fool met twice i deserve it. QI has repeatedly screwed most readers with their "updated" systems.

Originally when QI launched promised 1-2 chapters free a day for ALL their novels. Then they started ad-walling everything (okay we can deal with ads). Then they start pay walling everything with SS (okay well at least we can save up SS over 30 days to read 1 or 2 of our most liked novels).

Now? You realize this system is balls right? Just statically speaking is super balls. 8-13 SS a chapter? The "fast pass" eliminates the ability for most readers to participate in discounted novels or events, right off the bat. There also 1/3 of the novels on this site that are only 4-6 SS. The shitty 300 word chapters novels. Also the difference between being able to hold SS for 30days in order to see if a story even gets daily updates, versus how more than 64% of the novels get dropped or stopped getting Translation out of no where, screws most readers with this new system. Basic logic isn't that hard.

Whether this helps QI continue running and make a profit is a different thing, since I mean amazing stories like Pursuing Immorality get dropped with no news of why, and shitty stories get 900 chapters tled, but have 0 PS votes or views. Yikes.

      soo i started reading on this website from late 2017 and it has gradualy turned worse over time, at this point i am just waiting to see how trash can it get, btw i am using other sites instead of this one , seriously just go to other sites at this point, just google it.

      I am not even angry at this point, i was angry when they introduced spirit stones and all that jazz, i was angry when they made the privilage and etc... I am sayng this so people undersand that i do not want to besmirch webnovels reputation (already did it themselves) but there are other options out there, free without payng real money or playng a hoarding game or a strategic game about using your fast pass or coins etc...

      And Tomoyuki i would not have had a problem with this new fast pass thing if they would have not changed the expiry date on them, it used to be one month and now it has reduced to a single week. This is a marketing strategy to make people log in to the website more often and to use theyr fast pass or risk losing them and if a novel u like makes a mass release you would not have the fast passes necesary to read all of them.

      Now you have two choices, you either buy some chapters( webnovel "happy noises") or you just sit and wait for another day to come up with your 3 passes and 5 coins...

      Yep, Webnovel tries to get the best working machine to get money out of people, it tweaks things over the years eventualy creating an ecosystem suitable to farming cash but that is normal because they are a company and it is theyr right to do so, just like it is your right to search other sites if you dont like this one.

        I say no. And no. My friends are books. How about introduce j. London, Dickens, etc? Get back dam monthly subscription. And having decent novels. 20% in my view are just decent quality. It doesnt make sense that think that everything what dam hollywood throws in west will be swallowed ( at least what they think) that any pile of crap of books will be here taken. Especialy when it involves male novels. Why are there so many female novels in that list? Why?

          And by the way even me as buyer of ss. I used to by some novels on discount all chapters and then some of them were locked again. How does that thing works. Writed to qi. Was sent back answer provide history purchase prove. Yeah would if that would be so simple. If you dont delete history yourself. After 1000-3000 chapter purchase now tell me how to do that. So not only regular joi gets messed here but even people who spend 30-50£spenders. And its not just some chapters lost. But... Its some thousands chaptera. Like minimum 3000ss at least lost.

                The reason why the monthly subscription was scrapped (taken firsthand from Piokilek, a contracted author):

You can get 3 Fast Pass if you introduce a friend. As of right now, you can receive up to 3 Fast Pass a day by doing your usual daily missions (checking in, voting with power stone, voting for energy stone) on the PC site. If you prefer the coins, use the app to check in and vote, and you'll receive 15 power stones (20 if you include multiplier rewards). It depends on what you want.

                Whether you think this system is balls or not is none of my concern. I already said I don't know if the new system is good or bad. I was merely responding to some guy who scoffed at me when I said there will be tasks that you can do to get fast pass. He claimed that no such tasks exist and scoffed at me by calling them mythical even though I already provided concrete examples of existing tasks that do give you fast pass. I'm not sure what he's trying to do, but come on, I just literally gave you an explanation, and you still find something to complain about, and on something that is not true. Really? In other words, all I'm saying is, fact-check, clarify, and find out for sure before you start whining.

                The minimum cost of a chapter should be 5 spirit stones, because Inkstone doesn't allow you to publish a premium chapter that's less than 1,000 words, and the minimum 1,000 words cost 5 spirit stones at least. Each chapter costs 1 coin/spirit stone for every 200 words and part thereof. 300 word chapters cannot be published as premium, and they would only cost 2 spirit stones at most, so I have no idea how you're doing your math.

                Also, that has got to be a super-entitled statement I have ever heard. You get these spirit stones for free, and it's not enough. Now you want to use these free spirit stones for discounted novels or events and whine when you can't. Seriously? You're complaining that you can't use what you got for free for something that is discounted? That's like me taking a rationing coupon that I received from welfare, and then complaining to the supermarket that I can't use it to purchase the stuff that's on a discount sale. What in the world...? You know what the purpose of a discount is for, right? You know, for people to pay less and save money...and you're complaining that you can't use the coins you get for free for discounted stuff? By the way, you can't use Free Passes on stories that are on events. So that's a pretty moot point.

                Additionally, Qidian has nothing to do with writers or translators' update schedules, as far as I know of. There is absolutely nothing Qidian can do if a writer or translator goes MIA. What, you want them to fire them or something? Take away their contract? If a writer chooses to drop his story out of nowhere, that's his fault and his responsibility. It's useless to blame Qidian. They don't micromanage our lives and supervise us to make sure we write. If your story is dropped, you should approach the writers or the translators directly (though that's probably difficult unless you added them on Discord). They are the ones who know best, not Qidian.

                Also, the reason why Pursuing Immorality got dropped is because the translation team went MIA. Whereas the stories with 900 chapters translated have dedicated teams who are committed to seeing their project through until the very end. You call them shitty and don't like them, but you have no right to tell translation teams what to translate and what not to translate. What gets translated, what gets dropped, etc. are all down to the individual translation teams responsible for those projects. Not Qidian.

                                            Let's say I work in a fast food restaurant. You buy fries. You get free sauces that come with your fries. Fair enough. But that doesn't mean you're entitled to 10 packets of sauces when you buy a single set of large fries.
