This is a locked Chapter Use the fast pass to unlock it by pressing the Use button
You can also see the Auto-Unlock feature that unlocks for you automatically when ever you scroll down to a new chapter. It first uses Fast pass > Coins

Honestly the point system is a serious downer. Doesn't make me feel a single bit of motivation to realise that reading 41 chapters of an original novel rewards me with only 10 points. I know it's based on the time spent reading but do I have to slow my own pace?

Well if you really want points. But in my humble opinion just read as you normally do it adds up without you noticing about it also it resets in a week. For me I already reached 240 mins so I spent 2 hours reading my comics. Yea I only read comics, unless the novels are good maybe I would read them. Maybe

The_Cheese Hey.... Can we get coins instead of Fast Pass and Points?? Or Can Webnovel Give Us More Fast Card??? It only give 3.... Can it give at least 10 Fast Pass in a day?? so we can read our favorite Novels daily... 
That is up to Webnovel(Qidian) if they want to replace Fast Pass. Fast Pass gives no income to the Author's who created their original novels. So if they decided to do that they would have a decline in their income. Coins on the other hand pay Authors. Fast Pass has no value to Authors.

I Don't Like Updated Version of Webnovel... I can't read my Favorite Novel Daily.... I read 3 Novels Daily.... 1st Novel Publish 3 chapters in a day and other two publish 2 chapers in a day... I need at least 7 Fast Pass Daily For Read Novel... But last two days I don't read my 1 novel plus 1 chapter from other novel too...... 
Ok it's acceptable, BUT! I HATE THE EXPIRATION DATE THINGY! Get the expiration date rules. It's a big disappointment. Promise! Nakakainis sya.
I wholeheartedly agree. The coin system is the best. But bonus coins does not give authors income only purchased coins give income to our favorite authors.
