          That's the truth and there's alot of premium novels here made free online elsewhere but I didn't find any novels from Inkitt that was made free on these pirate sites.

          So... At the end of the day, once a novel gets premium status, readers would turn to these pirate sites instead. (I'm one of them, I shamelessly confess)

For example, once contracted you are obligated to share the revenue earned from the IP with webnovel, like comics and merch sold on other sites.
