Which series is the best?

    harry potter for me, because i haven't had the chance to catch up to the latest episodes of the Game of Thrones.
    Also, i could never find the time to read the Fire and Ice series.

    Assuming you mean the books I go with Harry potter cause the format is not like a bible. The books for Game of Thrones remind me of those pocket bibles with tiny ass font. Real boring imo.

    Assuming you mean their adaptations, Game of Thrones will be chosen because of the long term commitment and the excitement that cannot be held back. The show features large adult themes that cannot be ignored, often times forgetting its even a fantasy. With that slight hint at magic it becomes one of the most epic fantasies on TV in history(if you ask me). The story telling itself beats out the Harry potter movies which started out aimed at kids and immediately took a darker turn in the movies following the first. Without the books it would have been very conflicted audience direction, sort of a my little pony fiasco type thing. In truth maybe the same could be said for the books and the author was just displaying the kid atmosphere for the sake of the age of the character at the time....The complete reversal in the 2 movies after the first to me was a quick escalation that I wasn't ready for and legit had trouble following as a 8 yr old.

    Wow I said alot more than I thought about Harry Potter...but you get it. Game of Thrones wins for adaptation and loses on books for me simply because of the format it's given in. It's probably also filled with rich literature that my mind just would get bored of and label the book as text book pillow book(large book put you to sleep).

    If you mean the book series....Harry Potter wins hands down!!!

    On-screen definitely Game of Thrones! I never liked the HP movies.

    But overall the Harry Potter story does it for me.

                Both are good so just read first potter then game of thrones you are not losing anything

                As a show, Game of Thrones.
                As a lego video game..... Well I don't even think Game of Thrones has one, so HP wins.

                As a fanfiction source, hands down Harry Potter, Game of Thrones has little to no good fanfictions whilst harry potter at least has a few pretty good ones.
