I’m a new author. I’m having trouble with votes and how they work, My story called “The Heart of Gaia” doesn’t have any votes. So I’m curious on how it works. Please help me. Can someone give me tips on how to get Votes?

You can do it by yourself by using power stone, like Jhon said. In addition, keep writing an interesting plot, and if you already have your own readers, they will also vote on your story. So, just wait, because everything takes time for a process. Hihi~
Mind you, not all readers vote. Many just silently read the story, enjoy it, add to their library and thats it. 
You can ask them to vote if they enjoyed your story, but that can also be irritating if you ask for it at the end of every chapter. Do it sparingly and just keep writing and creating a cool story. 
Those who love it will eventually start voting.

If readers like your story, they will vote for it. You just have to be patient and slowly build a following. But if you really want one, you can always use alt accounts to vote for yourself.

EldritchTheDead Um, Your rank will blow up and it can increase your popularity, and also can open an opportunity for you to get a contract offer. Correct me if I'm wrong...
Keep writing. Votes and power stones come from readers (you get three or so yourself) and it's only with their daily allocated stones that you gather up these votes. It resets every week so don't get oo worked up over them. Time and reader's attention is the best way.

Nope, otherwise, how would rankings work?
There is a section that tells you how many ppl voted PS for your novel but every week the ranking resets for fairness and up to date ranks.

Sighgray there's a problem with the whole power stone thing in my opinion. Many people, like myself, would just vote for the first book in our library just to get a FP as soon as possible. Thats why when a new TL novel came out of trial read, tons of people vote for it, but it does not represent the actual popularity of the book
If you are talking about the power stone votes, click to the front page of your novel/story and click the 'vote' button. There you should see the 'see who voted', click into that and it will show everyone who has ever voted for your novel plus how many power stones they have used.
