Thank you you for putting together a list of drop novels. I really hope they’ll pick these back up and finish it.. or I hope I can find it on some other website. It really sucks to be left hanging and have no way of finding out the ending of novels.

Damn, first they dropped Rise of Humanity and now Tales of Herding Gods. I really love the way the author write his story and now I can't finish any novel of his.

I don't understand what is going on. Why in the world would I spend money on this website if novels can be dropped just like that?
Do they just not understand that in order for them to make money on the long term, they need to invest money, even in books that are not breaking even?
Because now what you get is a lot of potential customers hearing about how Webnovel can just randomly drop a book and never finish translating it, so they will not want to spend their money on the website.
Just like how I am not spending a penny on a book here, because I can not trust this website not to drop the books.
Add "The Portal of Wonderland" 2 months stopped. I think Webnovel should re-think their business model, the number of abandoned novel is growing fast. Suggestions
- Stop adding new novels every week, and do it monthly.
- Translator can only pick up new novel if it doesn't have abandoned an old novel.
Yeah, I wasted so many spirit stones to read both stories just to have them dropped. One is almost finished while the other having 600+ chapters left (a lot but still). Sincerely I've stopped using Webnovel since they dropped so many novels, it was my favorite site to read novels because of their application on phone but now I don't even care about it. I also used to recommend to friends to read novels here but never again.

It's getting to a point that basically half of the books in my library are dropped...
I have a bad feeling that Webnovel is going bankrupt? Or Qidian and Tencent haven't seen the numbers they expected and are gutting the project and reconsidering this expansion into international market.

Might have to get a refund since webnovel/qidian are basically scamming people. If a novel doesn't finish or update then that is a scam. Worst case you get your account banned and get a refund. First membership cancellation.

Not dropped by WebNovel or the translators, but the original author had to stop for a break for "mental health reasons" over a year ago and has not started up again yet. The translators have now translated all that has been written!
I think the problem is the fast pass. Because one fast pass can unlock any chapter, even the bigger ones. So novels like Tales of Herding Gods or Kingdon bloodline, that have giant chapters, lose lots of income.
They probably had from 1 to 5 chapters per week and in one week webnovels gives at least 21 fast passes, so probably most of the readers didn't pay for the chapters.

Vinicius_Almeida if fast pass is the problem, but they are the one who make those fastpass. I think they gonna make fastpass gone too. Because they already make the cost to unlock chapters for some account muliplied by 100x coins needed. If fastpass is also gone, I guess its the end of webnovel for those accounts. (mine included).
There is no point to the fastpass if it kills translations. Either remove it or rework it imho.

Abyss Domination (586 chapters remaining) seems to have been dropped...I mean they really are just kicking us right in the nuts with these cause I had JUST found that novel the day before it dropped...
Some of these fics have sub 100 chapters left over. One thing I've noticed, is that WN tends to do this a lot. They get to the end of a story and then... drop or delay it. When God of Slaiughter was ending, they literally took a multi-month hiatus before the last 40 chapters. In a 2k chapter story that we had been following for years. Done this with many fics— delays or drops right when we reach the finish line.
It's actually aggravating and also hard for us to put in trust and fund new novels. Sure the novels themselves might be great but... if you're gonna drop them at the end it's like we put in a ton of money and yet are forever fated to never read the ending of the story. It's truly cruel to your readers.
