I'll not drop it, but start accumulating free chapters.
I really don't like this premium system and LOHP is not the only novel I read, so I cannot afford it anyway. I could create an account for each novel to exploit this damned system, but I'm too lazy. I'll instead pick up another novel, just like I did when RTW became premium.
I immediately read the comments of the latest chapters and I think there are still many who don't know how premium novels work. They are all cheering for more releases coming

immortal_corrupt QI is currently losing money. In order for this company to be sustainable, they had to implement some sort of system. Otherwise, did you expect them to just print money out?
II will look for a site to read for free or ask for one at NU fóruns. LOHP is the 1st novel that I read here on QI that got shited by premium.
Oxy shut you mouth, damed animal. There are dozens of sites that translate for free with fan support by patreon. This fortune that Qidian will charge for you to read is unjustifiable.
Oxy i heard that it's not cheaper per chapter price but the translators are bound to a contract that they are to sell their translation to qi and it is not up to them to set the price. Btw, they had to put down their patreon links too for the premium system, so, it's pretty harsh on them too.

Seems like I gotta drop this one. Not worth the SS for this one, RTW premium is worth the SS, but this? nope.

If it's true, then technically it's qidian's fault that make the translator earning go down. The one who forces the contract is not the reader, it's QI. The one who forces to bring all the novel to single platform are they, it's business, they knew the risk they are taking, and they still got other plan just in case. How the market respond is up to the reader.
