Hello everyone! I'm Alpha, a brand new writer with just over 24 hours having passed since the publication of my first ever web novel at the time of this post! I know the excitement of seeing your view count tick up over the early stages of your novel, and the frustration when it pauses for a while until you either upload or get a review.

As such, I wanted to post a new thread dedicated to those in a similar boat to me!

This thread will focus on new authors and allow them to share their works in a way separate from uploading and hoping people click your link in the "Search" and "Browse" on the main site.

If you're like me and want to promote your creation, please ensure it follows these guidelines:

The original upload date must be within the last 2 week (14 days)
It must be a work you have intention of continuing in the future, with the goal of completing
Please try to share only works with less than 30k words total across all chapters
While not mandatory, please try and share only ongoing (not complete) stories
This thread is not for the contest entries, as there are other threads dedicated to those
Please include a brief description of your story (3-4 sentences maximum)

Without any further ado, let me get us started!

The following story is a sci-fi meets fantasy novel in the Isekai vein. A magically gifted soldier gets transported with his AI rifle to a fantasy world and has to find his way home. Guns, swords, magic, dragons, we've got it all! Follow the MC, Alex, as he tries to fit in and find a way to return to Earth!

But I honestly don't have time to look through all of the stories here to see if they fit w/ the guidelines you provided, so hopefully you can do the checking for me and just tag me if you see any stories violating the rules of the thread that you posted. Butterscotch_07 You did share your link, but it's the mobile version, and I have trouble reading things on my phone. The mobile webpage doesn't translate well to a full sized computer screen, either. :(

Alpha_Medic Try going up to the web url and removing the " m. " from it. Then it converts to PC version. That's what I always do, anyway.

Maybe just a quick review of the characters. The story summary for MHA should be found somewhere on YouTube.
My story is also on Wattpad. For the first chapter, there should be a picture of Fatgum. The second chapter has a picture of All Might in-between forms. The third should have all might in his complete muscle form and the last chapter should have the image of Eraserhead how is described in the second paragraph of that chapter.
At the current point of the story, you just need to know who Ryukyu, Fatgum, Sir Nighteye, All Might, Eraserhead, and All For One. The other characters from the show will not show up until later in the story. And other current characters are original.

I literally just published this novel, so I'm hoping it's in agreement with the guidelines to post it here. At any rate it's ongoing and new, and it's coming from an author that is completely confused with this website.

Side note: it's a romance, but it's not just romance. It's not going to appeal to anyone who doesn't like a little smut though.

Small synopsis because that's what everyone does on this website apparently:
Gen wasn't living a perfect life. Hardly anyone is.

It's about a succubus who's given a task to go look for something by a mysterious man.
For now the story is going to focus on how the succubus prepares for that task and what she goes through on her travels to where she's supposedly going to do the task in question.

I've honestly never written a "Webnovel ML" novel, so it was pretty much of a hit and miss (think I missed the mark but oh wells ;-; )

It follows the story of a professional eSports player who had one last Worlds game before retirement. But after he loses the game, he realizes that he had essentially accomplished nothing with his youth and didn't really have any other skills to start anew. Somehow, he wakes up back when he was seventeen and is forced to choose again whether he wants to go on the same path. It's not really the typical OP ML story but more so focuses on his development and his interactions as well as actual career choices.

Honestly, due to the rarity of my book's genre and my terrible writing style, my book rarely got any notice which makes me feel all lonely and dejected. So, here's a promotion to liven things up.
