Hi friends, I want to recommend this novel to more readers.
It is written by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving, who is the author of other popular novels (The Lord of the Mysteries; Throne of Magical Arcana; Martial Art Master).
It has great fight scenes, deep lore, plots within plots and the characters are pretty well fleshed out. I do not want to spoil too much, but you can check out the Chinese pages i have linked below for more information. I have also attached some pictures of the MC.

What is the story? I mean the plot?

Spoiler Alert! I've made it more difficult to read so nobody reads it by accident lol.
The MC (Meng Qi) transmigrates from our world into the body of a Noble boy who just got banished from his home to a monastery. He wakes up at the monastery with no memories of his host body or even the name of his host body.
MC begins his journey as a young monk and gets assigned a new monkly name. He does not spam the knowledge from our into the new world, but small tidbits here and there. This is mostly him flaunting his posing skills
During a martial arts exchange event, he gets summoned together with a bunch of others by a "higher power" aka Dominator of Samsara. The Dominator forces them to go on quests in other cultivation realms to complete tasks. There are both light hearted and emo moments in this novel.
Through his adventures, MC grows in strength, experience and personality while he makes new friends and enemies. MC is a funny guy. He often gets into trouble way over his head, but uses his wits and perseverance to survive.
His dream is to be a cool and suave Young Master and to awe everyone with his charms. Unfortunately, he is often seen as a brute due to the martial arts skills he uses and his bald head lol. Luckily his hair grows back and he starts to gain more cool skills to pose as an otherworldly hero/taoist. He meets up with his family and kinda makes peace with them, but he renounces his position in the family (all while he's acting cool and awe inspiring) Does he got in contact with his familiy again?

I put the answer into my post on top, at the last line.
This novel is good for its consistent development and advancement of its story and characters. There is mystery, action, adventure, time travel, tragedy, angst, comedy, Detective Noir (yes, and they make it work!) and lots more. They are carried out consistently and things that happen have a meaning, even if it takes several chapters to figure out or see that carried forward.
People dont suddenly shoot up overnight and stay defeating everyone. They have to fight hard to cultivate themselves and realize the underlying concepts behind their martial arts rather than just "oh, he comprehended it"
The translation isn't first class, but its alright and in time, you will learn to love Vacuum Hometown.
The cast of characters is diverse and fleshed out. They are distinct from one another and act realistically, not just Template Female X or Template Male Y or Template Villain Z.

The translation got harder and harder to read after the sudden change. Like wtf is Tip-Top realm? I can endure 'grandmaster' stage replaced with 'guru', although they are ancient chinese martial artist not yoga practitioner. But calling Tip-Top a cultivation stage is just plain mockery to the readers.

What happened? Around 30 chapters ago, this translation was nuked. It went from a rather consistent, thoughtful rendition of mature, sophisticated material, to language that I wouldn't even expect from machine translation.
The terms for most major concepts in the story have changed - for the worse. Instead of 'Jade Virtual Palace', we get 'Aquamarine Heaven'. Instead of referring to the currency as 'Karma Points', it's referred to as 'Good Deeds', (which does not imply a currency). The power realm of 'Divine Immortal', became the realm of ''Divine Fairy', (which gives the concept a very different, and inaccurate, feel). The new translations for commonly used things/concepts/phrases has become ridiculous. They don't make sense, they don't flow, and they are inconsistent with the previous 800 chapters. Many words are missing. Instead of 'Ming Qi walked through the door', we're more likely to see, 'Ming Qi walked the door'. Often, technical phrases are simply nonsense. The concepts are not understood by the translator, and come through as gibberish.
Is there some way of salvaging this translation? (We were already through 800 chapters of quality translation!)

Please help to look in to this! This is an excellent novel by Cuttlefish that Loves Diving (author of Lord of the Mysteries). It is doing a great disservice to the Author and his fans!l

I have emailed webnovels but nothing has been done on this, still the same translation.
It would be embarrassing for the Author if i have to post screenshots of this.

I've submitted the errors found in chapter 779 to the Webnovels discord group under #suggestions_bug_feedback
Let me summarize the errors found:
1) Dominator has been wrongly translated as Almighty Man.
2) Ajati Matriarch has been wrongly translated as Death mother.
3) pawn has been wrongly translated as prawn.
4) Dominator of the Six Realms has been wrongly translated as Six Dao and the Almighty Man.
5) Demoness Gu has been wrongly translated as Gu Devil.

Such "translators" should just be banned. But if not, then this means that the administration does not care about reputation or anything, only about money, and there will be even more such nonsense until webnovel completely turns into a paid version of LNMTL.

I stopped reading this becase of the crappy translation from chap 777. You basically have 300 okayish translated chapters from chap 400 - chap 776, where some of them are subpar but readable. Now I can't even continue this story, especially since it costs money.

This novel got so bad starting at 778 and it's so sad because this novel potential is huge. It has the same author with Lord of Mysteries and all his novel translation is good, except for this one. Please fix this Qidian.
