In my opinion the LOHP "premium" release frequency is unacceptable as it literally has not changed from when the novel was essentially free to read. We are essentially paying much more for the same translating services that we got when we weren't paying anything (release frequency is the same but at an annoying 1 chap release at a time). We need mass releases, not chapters that trickle in one at a time at a meager 2 times a day. There are some free to read novels that get two or more chapter releases a day. Since LOHP is now premium and we are paying for the translators services they need to step up their game. The translator needs to either up daily chapter releases to at least double they were when LOHP was not premuin (spirit stone prices trippled per chap so this is being generous) or mass release chapters once or twice a week. This is like upgrading your internet connection to a "premium" connection and getting the same speed and quality you had before when you were paying less for the service. As I am now paying $20-$30 a month to read LOHP I am no longer someone who thanks the translator for their hard work but a paying customer who doesn't need to play nice like I used to. To sum up my ideas; LOHP chapter releases are unacceptable as they have not changed frequency from free-to-read to premium. The "premium" LOHP needs more chapter releases daily (at least four if we are paying triple we used to) or needs mass releases several times a week. I am just speaking my mind and probably that of others as I have noticed in the LOHP comments.

I do appreciate if Starve can release more chapters than what he is doing right now, but please understand that the translators have real life to deal with and not just pure translation. They are not machines.
Not only in this particular novel, all of the "fremium" novels really need a change in the chapters per week, its really stupid pay for a service and get the same.
So here we got translator who busy with their rl stuff and at the same time claim the the translator also need money in rl and impose this shitty payment now ?
A_Baby_Seal where have you been for all the other premium novels? This has been the argument since the beginning of the premium system for all premium novels.
Also, as a friendly heads up, if you stop paying SS for chapters at any point, you will probably have to wait weeks if not months for the free release chapters to catch up to where you left off.
Shaff I am a paying customer and not someone who is receiving the charity work of free translations. Why would I care about what is going on in his life? Do customers of businesses care if the workers are busy outside of work? Ofcouse not. If he was doing these translations for free I would be more than happy with the translator taking their time. However, I am now a paying customer and the situations is different now that money is involved.
LOHP have 17 chapters/week right now. Before premium, only 14 chapters/week.

I don't know about that math... LoHP costs you 12,5$ a month if you follow it consequently. While there are not as many released chapters as with other novels, LoHP chapters are longer than most others. Thats why they cost 12-13 spirit stones and other novels like RTW only cost about 7. Essentially this means that LoHP chapters amount to nearly two regular chapters of other novels.
Also, I don't get what you people are all about with your 'I am paying for a service' . No. You are paying to be allowed to read the novel. And, essentially it doesn't make a difference how much chapters are released, because the cost of it will increase accordingly as we pay per word count. Your internet-connection analogy is all over the place. You also don't get to decide what TV Series Netflix produces next are how many episodes of a popular series are released per week just because you are a customer. You pay for 'access' not for 'service'.

Tomz Starve said this immediately when it became a premium novel. The release rate was only increased temporarily to catch up to the advanced chapters which were offered previously via patreon, so that the old patreon supporters wouldn't have to wait that long, since there are no patreon advanced chapters anymore.

TitaniaPrime There is something most people don't understand, it isnt the translators that are to blame but Webnovel, they introduced this money grubbing system. After all is it normal to pay more than 10$ monthly for so little ? What of those that follow many stories at a time ? I do not think even half of what we pay and is generated by the ads is payed to the translators. Webnovels became famous around the world thanks to the efforts of independants translators, it is now an opportunity to make money for some company. So I think it's normal to complain.I may be exagerating a bit but did you notice ? On this forum, you can only like post, not dislike them :p ( Sorry for the mistakes, I'm french)
Yakumo no, qidian give translator choices, and starve pick his choice by himself. He choose to become premium translator. And i remember someone said the premium translator must translate at least 14 chapters/week. I forgot who said that. He can get another translator, so we can get more chapters weekly, but he also chose not to do that, because he want to monopolize this novel. That's why i'm angry.
