Clowniac Chinese Web-Novels are trash in quality compared to regular literature anyways. Cutting out parts of them that aren't very tasteful to read wouldn't bastardize the novel as it is already of sub-par quality ROFL. These novels are novels people read for fun and personally reading stuff like that in them takes the fun out of the chapter for me. I'm not outraged or anything lol idk why you would think that.

Soooo..... I was reading the latest chapter of The Empress's Gigolo (Chapter 266: Molten Iron) when I read something that was really messed up. As if that is a term for wild boar lol.... This is a website targeted at international audiences where racist stuff like this should be prohibited. The translator should have cut this fucked up shit out of the chapter, like really. How do you translate this and go like "hmmmmmm, this seems ok."

The Gourmet of another world translator has vanished yet again. Prevously they didn’t post for about a month then did around 4 chaps a week for like 2 weeks. Following the posted chaps the translator dissipeared again and has posted once in the past 2 weeks (translation speed says 4 chaps per week). Please find another translator for this novel. The current one is a good translator but is not transparent about their translation speed and often leaves without a word. I am even willing to have Gourmet of Another World go premium if that is what it takes to get a faster and more consistsnt translation.

Shaff I am a paying customer and not someone who is receiving the charity work of free translations. Why would I care about what is going on in his life? Do customers of businesses care if the workers are busy outside of work? Ofcouse not. If he was doing these translations for free I would be more than happy with the translator taking their time. However, I am now a paying customer and the situations is different now that money is involved.

In my opinion the LOHP "premium" release frequency is unacceptable as it literally has not changed from when the novel was essentially free to read. We are essentially paying much more for the same translating services that we got when we weren't paying anything (release frequency is the same but at an annoying 1 chap release at a time). We need mass releases, not chapters that trickle in one at a time at a meager 2 times a day. There are some free to read novels that get two or more chapter releases a day. Since LOHP is now premium and we are paying for the translators services they need to step up their game. The translator needs to either up daily chapter releases to at least double they were when LOHP was not premuin (spirit stone prices trippled per chap so this is being generous) or mass release chapters once or twice a week. This is like upgrading your internet connection to a "premium" connection and getting the same speed and quality you had before when you were paying less for the service. As I am now paying $20-$30 a month to read LOHP I am no longer someone who thanks the translator for their hard work but a paying customer who doesn't need to play nice like I used to. To sum up my ideas; LOHP chapter releases are unacceptable as they have not changed frequency from free-to-read to premium. The "premium" LOHP needs more chapter releases daily (at least four if we are paying triple we used to) or needs mass releases several times a week. I am just speaking my mind and probably that of others as I have noticed in the LOHP comments.

I also agree with this. The translator goes AWOL with no notice which is irresponsible. Get a new translator that knows what responsibility is.

The premium system is something that is needs to be revised. The system would be alright if they changed the prices. The prices and not nearly worth the stone amounts they represent. If you read Library of heavens path its 12 stones a chapter, triple normal. If they want this to work they need to make stones cheaper or something. That being said as someone who doesn't lack money I bought a ton of stones to support the authors and translators.

Most of the projects here get daily updates. However, this is not the case for GAW. GAW only gets four chapters a week and the release dates are completely random. The super slow random releases have started to erk me. I have nothing against the translation quality. In my opinion the GAW translator is one of the best on the website. Although, the project seems more like the translator releasing chapters on a whim than a dedicated translation. If the four chapters were released on a consistent date that would be great. Also, the last chapter posted was November 24th and today is the 30th. It has almost been a week and no chapters have been released. I just want to see a consistent release schedule or more releases. Four chapters is fine, but they need to be released on a schedule and not randomly. I am saying this because if GAW had more releases or a better schedule it would be by far my favorite novel on the website.

I have nothing against the translators or the translation quality, they are great. Although, this novel seems to be a complete copy of My Wife is a Beautiful CEO. I gave it a chance and thought that it could just be an coincidence at the start but soon realized I was wrong. Chapter 21 is the most shameless copying I have ever seen. Xiaoyue Zhang is sent to collect debt from a gang. Seem familiar? This is the exact same situation which happens in My Wife is a Beautiful CEO. I have been told China's plagiarism laws are lose compared to North American standards, but this is ridiculous. This website is supporting an author who is COPYING another author. This is honestly disgusting. Publishers should strive to protect the integrity of authors. Qidian should not support an author who PLAGIARIZES.
