Carciphones_02 Start with small goals. Nothing too big, just prioritise. Avoid overloading by setting smaller, attainable goals that will get you where you want to be without overwhelming you along the way.

And don’t expect everything to be perfect from the first try. Give yourself time to improve. Create a plan of action. Planning how you will get something done can make it easier to get there. Be realistic about how much time, effort, and other factors are needed to meet your goal and create an action plan. Having a plan will provide direction and confidence that can help even if you hit a hurdle along the way.

Recognize your accomplishments along the way, and don’t be afraid to ask for help from your immediate environment. Have them help you to find ways to make your distractions less accessible. This can mean finding a quiet place to work, like the library or an empty room, or using an app to block sites that you scroll mindlessly when you should be on task.

I have to start by saying laziness and procrastination are very common but it is easier to quell than most people think. This is probably because doing nothing is easy and soon, one can find comfort in ennui. It's a thing of the mind and I'd advise you to start doing more mental and emotional exercises.

You should start by doing the little things. Maybe your room or set small goals for yourself which could even be in the form of writing. A thousand words a day? Sure. That'll give you confidence to do more or develop some sort of consistency.

And also, nobody can really help you change or get better until you are really serious about being more industrious. This is not an attack or anything; I'm just trying to be honest here and let you know that you really have to be serious about DOING stuff to not be lazy anymore rather than SAYING you don't want to be lazy. Life is much shorter than we think, so it's best to make every minute count.

    Hope this helps.

Hmmm, sounds like a case of procrastination. The problem is that you made your laziness into a habit and the only way to become a hard-working person is to make your hard work into a habit. Try to create a routine and a list of things you have and want to do for today, the more detailed it is the better. If you feel like you don't want to do the thing that you have listed then just use the two-minute method. Every time you don't feel like doing a task you just say to yourself "I will do this task for two minutes". The important thing is that you don't lose the habit of working, after all, some work done is better than no work done. If you want to find more tips on how to become more active and stop being lazy you should try the youtube channel "better than yesterday". I hope that my comment was helpful.

Sigheti Thank you!! Right after I read your post, I downloaded appblocker right away. I'd say it's a very good progress because whenever I tried to use any distracting apps, It blocked me.

Overlord_Venus As much of how tempting that sounds... I'm gonna go with no... Wakakakakakaaka... I prefer to become a cat person until old time. Sitting on a lazy chair with cat on my lap...

HaleonRanks that's right... I'm not going to deny that. I love to procrastinate and I want to change. I hope by making this post, I get to receive encouragement and change. If I'm being lazy... I can just come back to this post and read it again to get another encouragement.

Leporidere That's a good suggestion. I'll be sure to note it down. I feel bad for procrastinating so much and I feel like I'm going nowhere if I don't change now. This post is a first step for me.

Zhyper_Caya go check out the forums stating ' promote your novel'&, 'review swap' platforms, hopefully you'll get showered by the numbers there. There are lots and lots of links shared pertaining to variety of genres. You can look through them and find the books to read of your choice. Thank you!

I’m lazy too but it’s fine, as while I do laze around a lot I just write notes here and there about what I want to write and with enough material I can write without thinking much while staying lazy.

About school I can’t help much cuz I sleep through most of it, without any guilt... if it’s boring why bother, do things your interested in.

As for writing other things it’s fine too as you will learn from them.

Carciphones_02 yes sir (sorry late reply) I hope you can make it or just give it a try may you maybe you will like it and also don't forget to make it a harem will yahh😆

Carciphones_02 nothing works if you yourself don't really want to write or feel so blanked out, you'll feel like ignoring whatever u want to write, ideas might keep on popping up but still you'll feel hella sluggish. I'll say for myself when I look up at the reviews on my book plus seeing other authors getting praised for their hard work or when you feel like you certainly cannot leave it as it is wasting away, scold yourself start self doubting your self ( eg, what the hell are you even doing?) start stressing over only then you'll be able to get over your laziness.
I hope this helps cuz these r some of the things I do myself 🤣
