Yeah, except that logic is extremely flawed. Most readers know their genre preferences well before coming to WN. I, for instance, hate romance...which is the genre I'm mostly getting.
I would think it is more accurate to say WN is hoping by giving 1 less general FP, we will spend more money on coins to continue what we were already reading. I cannot stay it is a dumb ploy, but it is irritating.

Darth_Xiane well I motherfucking hate romance. Blergh! But most of my free FP is romance. It's fucking annoying and once I have finished writing my fanfic I'm dropping this app. I barely even read any of the other books anymore.
Yeah gotta admit its rather heavy handed with the romance fp, but considering all the ceo stories and such its rather understandable why romance has a higher chance than others...
