Really? The very same Yun Che who leaves Cang Yue, Feng Xue Er, Xia Qing Yue behind just so he can cultivate and add more women to his harem? Who runs around sleeping with other women and cultivating while all the wives he left behind and he supposedly loves suffer and get attacked by enemies, only for him to conveniently swoop in at the very last moment to save what's left of them? The very same Yun Che who doesn't really care about relationships and mindlessly pursue strength and women at the expense of his other wives?

        Tomoyuki I understand some misgivings you might have about ATG harem but the protagonist never actually pursued strength. In fact it’s a point of joke for most of the novel that unless for outside stimuli he would just play around following women all year long. He only ever cultivated to achieve some immediate short term goals (typically revenge or rescuing some damsel). Also, ATG has some pretty solid holistic world-building despite valid reasons for criticism so it illustrates my other points nicely. But anyway, let’s try not to turn this thread into ATG discussion.

              Daoist861526 I just don't think Yun Che has a very healthy outlook on life, nor does he really value his relationships...he kind of abandons his wives once he marries them, which doesn't really seem healthy or valuable to me. But sorry for derailing the thread.

              The world building is fun, though, I'll agree. It's just a pity the world (or many realms) appears to revolve around women for Yun Che to conquer.
