Leylin_Farlier They're not just losing money, they're also alienating people who are, should and will be devoted novel readers. It's a short sighted model that aims to squeeze every shred of monetary profit possible in the shorted amount of time possible. People who have a need but no money will find a loop hole, or simply learn how to be patient. People like me who can afford it, but refuse to on principle, will either only pay for those that are REALLY worth it, like TKA and RTW, and tell the rest to screw off. Eventually it'll come to a point where even the diehards won't be able to keep up, and then Tencent will just dump this industry like a used whore.

When all the novels u are reading switch to premium and you only get 30 ss a day.... can't read anything. The pay wall system is a Pyramid sceme. It's not cool , and takes the fun out of reading. What's the point of getting a notification about the newest release when u can't even read it.

Its silly when more then half of your library is full of premium and daily gives you about 25-30 ss. That's about 2-3 chapter of 1 novel. That's beyond ridiculous...

Leslie How is it a pyramid scheme? Premium and paywalls are bad, but you are wrong in calling it a pyramid scheme. It is in no way, shape, or form connected to a pyramid scheme, unless you count the "refer a friend".

Honestly, i m perfectly willing to save a crap ton of money, wait until they are finished and published, then buy them then. Also, how the heck are you guys getting 25-30 SS a day? it lets me click once, and it always gives me 8-11.

Ragias $10 a month would maybe keep up with 1 story my friend. $10 gets you 500 + 100 ss and a premium novel doesn't have less then 2 chapter releases per day. So that would make 60 chapters per month on avarage which would be 60 * 10 = 600ss. So $10 would pretty much get you through at most 1 novel. You would need like $20 for the novels like the Immortal Mortal which has longer chapters than avarage and a faster release rate than 2 per day. Also, there will most definitely be mass releases in some of the novels you read, which will add to the cost. So if you read like 6 to 7 novels, be prepared for a price tag of $100 per month.

Well, it's overpriced for sure, but i can still make do with the daily free releases. 1 chapter per day is quite fine release rate compared to before. Well, that may also change to complete paywall one day, but i will keep being here till that time comes.

N0xiety 7 chapter a week used to be the top speed back in the day, I guess we are spoilt by now. There were signs before when a part of the novel community trashed on the first translator of ZTJ because they didn't release any chapter due to their final exam which they gave prior notice before hiatus. I remember how they were upset and quit translating altogether due to that.

I have already learned to be patient. I dont like things which comes with expiry date while the revenue they get is permanent. Its a total scam. Just read the free chaps and thats it.

N0xiety it’s sad. I decided to budget myself no more than ten dollars every second Friday. But the amount of ss I need to catch up to release that witch is so large! Estimate I’ll need 700 spirit stones which is my whole two week budget......

ShouldBeStudying pshh who only reads one novel, now my addiction might be getting out of hand, but I think I have 16 novels in my library..... it would be nice if they were sorted by premium or non premium so I could easily remember which ones to read when I’ve run out of ss because maybe I enjoy a good story to much but most of my 16 are premium

Now more than half my library is filled with premium novels. And every one of them (except 1 my most favorite) has hundreds of unread chapters, though i was enjoy them. But catching up with 1 or 2 is the most plausible with the free stone (not counting mass release). Not that i don't want to pay, but the price is just ridiculous.
